 Hi guys, so today's video as you can see is starting off a little bit different I don't have any type of like foundation or concealer on and that is because I am doing a review on the Laura Mercier translucent loose setting powder I've been hearing a lot of Stuff about a lot of really really good things about this powder I don't know if you guys watched my last video my last video like two videos ago I was saying that I got the airspun powder setting powder And I tried it for under my eyes because I do have really really bad wrinkles as well as darkness under my eyes I never really take care of my under eyes I never knew how it was and how important it was to take care of your under eyes So now I'm living with the consequences anyways So I'm doing this review because if you are like me you stock Products that you hear about like I literally stock products on makeup alley on YouTube I just have to see what it looks like I want to know what it smells like I want to know the texture Consistency all that stuff so starting off with some of the details of the product It is the translucent powder Meaning obviously that there is no color to it, so it's pretty universal for all skin tones It was $44 or $40 I believe is $40 at Sephora and they do not sell the Laura Mercier Products at like smaller Sephora's you have to go to like the bigger ones and like the malls and stuff like that Because my local one Was inside like JCPenney's and they didn't have it so I had to go like out of the city to get this Anyways, so yeah, so this one comes in like a little sifter like this Which I'm not crazy about those because you either get too little to too little of the product or way too much For me, anyways, I'll have to like put the cap on the product and like tip it upside down or throw it into the Lid so I'm not crazy about the little sister But I mean it's not a deal-breaker. I haven't even tried it yet like When I buy products like this and I plan on doing a review I save them for you guys I don't try them. I don't play with them. The most I'll do is play swatches them or whatever, but I haven't done that with this Okay So let's talk about price $40 for a Colorless Powder, I don't know how I feel about that yet

 So now I am going to kind of fast forward this because I'm just going to put my foundation on Today. I'm going to be using the Becca bamboo. Um, ultimate coverage complexion Cream and this is a really really thick foundation. So I'm going to mix it with a little bit of argan oil and apply it Obviously onto my face with my beauty blender Okay, so now that I have my foundation on I'm going to go in with my mac pro long wear concealer And I'm going to start putting that under my eye Okay, and for the sake of really testing out This okay

Visiting NYC next week so im trying out potential night out looks and am quite happy with this one

I tried to apply before foundation and cover it, i try to use beauty blender, brush, it looks good only for 30 minutes and then the face oily again. 

Doesn't work with oily acne prone skin

 But on my nose, it's almost as if there's like no foundation there. And it's like super, super oily. So yeah, I definitely think that the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder helped increase the longevity of the makeup that I put on today. I think it made it last a lot longer

Not worth the price

 That already sounds great. So I'm honestly just hoping that this makes me look and feel flawless. Cause I'm pretty sure my favorite Charlotte Tilbury one was just discontinued. So I'm hoping that this will take its place

 Like wow. I was honestly like, I was not feeling myself with just what I had on my face before this. And this literally turned my whole look around and just made me feel so much better and look so much better in my opinion. I am just feeling really, really good right now

 I just put the rest of my makeup on and I feel like it took me 0.2 seconds to do my powders on my face because everything just blended out so beautifully. It was so easy to do my makeup. Everything just worked so nicely together

 Now I don't know what I'm gonna be grabbing for more, what I like more. So that's another video idea. But for now, for the sake of this video, obviously I give this two big fat thumbs up and I highly, highly recommend because this is beautiful. This is amazing

I need a STRONG setting powder

 You are going to get a matte finish from this. If you have very dry skin I don't think that you would be really attracted to setting powders to begin with necessarily. But I don't think this is drying in any kind of way. I don't feel like it dries my skin out

 It may take a little while to dry but I do think you can wash this. In terms of the packaging you do have these kind of big holes here if you can see that and I wouldn't remove all of the tape that is covering these holes. That is a mistake that I have made with other products in the past and I have told you guys in those videos just kind of do a little bit of a take a really sharp knife and cut through and then peel off only half of the tape that is covering the holes initially. You just won't get as much product out which is for the better when it comes to packaging like this but this is the translucent color
