Leatherman Surge

Do most of you feel like you could live without it?. I EDC a Leatherman surge, I would love to carry the wave because it's lighter, but I have no use for the saw, and I use the scissors almost daily.

The pliers aren't as good as a good quality pair of dedicated pliers, the screwdrivers aren't as good as most dedicated screwdrivers, the saw isn't as good as pretty much any dedicated saw, the knife and scissors are better than many dedicated knives and scissors BUT... the tool you have with you is way better than nothing, and often better than spending the time to go and find a better tool. I wear a Leatherman Surge on my belt pretty much every day. It stays on my belt when I'm in my workshop with a bunch of tools within reach but it still gets used plenty when I'm not.

This is probably going to displace my Leatherman Surge. While I like the one hand opening blades on the Surge, the minor flaws and quality issues are a bit annoying. The Swisstool appears to be better quality for less money.

In my opinion the Leatherman Surge is one of if not the best all around Leatherman. It's large, has full size scissors, still has the replaceable cutters, and it has their blade exchanger that you can use with the file/saw and I believe some certain jigsaw blades as well but I'm not sure.
