Lenovo ThinkPad X230t

I've even heard of the newer slimmer chassis being alarmingly flexible. I'm beginning to become concerned for the future reputability of this series. I personally own two older models, the t520 and x230t, and while I always praise them highly when people ask about them, I hesitate to recommend buying a used machine that's generations behind in most specs. However, I still do, because I'm not convinced the newer models will be a better long term investment than the older, reliable ones.

X230t: i7 convertible as a sort of mobile workstation for when I need power and/or the pen input(very nice for cad). Helix 1st gen: just to play around with and try to replace my x240 (main reason pen input) for school as my school is investing a lot into digital infrastructure and getting more modern (i.e.

They're powerful enough for schoolwork but not much else tbh. Just be careful what screen it has as one is significantly better than the other and it's very difficult to tell them apart on an order page. For this reason the X230T might be better.
