Lenovo Yoga 6

So given, the Yoga 6 for 2022 has so many gotchas, why the hell do I recommend it so strongly?

AMD seems like a good idea for improved performance without breaking the bank. I've been looking at 2-in-1's but worry about the longevity of those fragile-looking hinges. Lenovo Yoga 6 looks perfect for me but I've been stung by their awful plastic hinges before (albeit in 2014) so very wary of them as a company!. ​.

Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion.I bought a Lenovo Yoga 6 for $749 and it seemed great but the screen was totally washed out at max brightness with any sunlight at all (supposedly 330 nits). Also I'm constantly closing it or at least locking the screen since I use it for work and I'm around customers a lot.

I'll give a 4.5 out of 5! Really good laptop and satisfied overall (this is not my first Lenovo Laptop) : I would recommend it to a friend.. Instead I am returning it and have replaced it with a Yoga 6 from Best Buy. Build quality is miles ahead plus dual USB-C (1 charging capable).

great laptop and it checks all the boxes (small, lightweight, fast boot up, fast processor, runs quiet). The bottom does get warm after use in non battery saver mode. Recommended sitting it on surfaces that allow airflow, purchasing a laptop cooling pad, and/or running on batter saver mode.

I'm wanting to upgrade from my xps 9380 and found the yoga 6. Other than the fabric on it it looks like it would do everything I'd want it to.

Overall an excellent device.

Pros: USB-C charging, cery fast and low power draw CPU/APU, touch screen and relatively thin and light.

Cons: The high gloss screen is quite reflective, nearly impossible to use outdoors or in direct lighting.
