Unboxing the LG 24GN650-B 24” Ultragear Gaming Monitor

Great Picture, atrocious stand.

 Ideally, you'll want at least 240FPS, but you'll need over 144FPS to justify buying a higher refresh rate display since 144FPS will look basically the same at 144Hz and 240Hz. It's also worth noting that the difference between 144Hz and 240Hz is not nearly as big as the difference between 60Hz and 144Hz. You can still feel it and you do get lower input lag, which will certainly appeal to serious competitive gamers eager to improve. The best part is that it can be found for $220 to $250, which is as much as you would pay for some 1080p 144Hz IPS models

 Now, the previously mentioned LG 24G N650 offers a similar viewing experience, so the only reason to get the S2522HG is obviously for the higher refresh rate. Keep in mind that in order to take advantage of 240Hz, you also need adequately high frame rates. Now, if you get a 27 inch display, you're going to want to bump it up to 1440p, which is going to up the price quite a bit

LG 24GN650-B 24” Ultragear Gaming Monitor Review

Good monitor but mine was defective

It's around 30-40% higher than most IPS panels but still not VA level. It also has among the best colors here featuring a wide color gamut including 90% DCI-P3 which makes it better than the BenQ EX2510 and all the 240hz options, and it's color accuracy is also really good too. Plus it's brightness is by no means bad, it's a tad bit lower than the 240hz bunch but still very solid at 380 nits. The BenQ EX2510 is a very close second

I have a 5600x and 3060.

I need a new monitor and have seen a few options. Color accuracy is somewhat important to me. Price is, but it's not super important. I'd like something under $300 (Especially for 1080p in 2021). Please give more suggestions, but here's what I've compiled so far.

24G2 - The panda panel drop worries me, the lower contrast, brightness and color accuracy seem to be a big enough deal for me not to consider it.

VG259QM - I bought the non-M version a year or so ago, and it had this weird filter that made text blurry. I ended up returning it. Did they fix that?

EX2510 - I really like the aesthetic and 8-bit color seems nice, but I hear people having issues with the tint. They say the whites have a yellowish tint to them.

S2522HG - Apparently this is the AW2521HF just with better aesthetics. Someone told me it has worst colors than the ASUS one listed above, is that true?

24GN650-B - I don't see many people posting about this one.

G24F - I hear the coil whine is really annoying, so I automatically discarded it.

MAG251RX - Seems perfect but man, $360 for 1080p is expensive. The 10 bit color seems perfect (Even if it isn't truly 10 bit, apparently it's 8 bit with FRC) and it seems to be pretty fast. I just wish it was $30-$40 cheaper.
