 It'S not like it's worse than last year's model because there was no equivalent. Last year, the ufo test guidelines make a minimal difference and still exhibit the red fringing issue. If anything, it's the contrast guideline that has the most impact, which does minimize lg's poor contrast ratio, but it's not a massive difference that would radically change our recommendation, so these guidelines and attempting to control our review were totally unnecessary because, as i said, i have mostly Positive things to say about the lg 32gb at 50.

 The 32 gpa 50 is priced 100, us dollars above the 27 gpa 50, which is a pretty standard price difference between 27 and 32 inch monitors with the 27 gpa 50. Currently at 450 us dollars or thereabouts. The 32gb 850 is currently selling for 550. Over at b h again, a fairly typical price for a mid to high end medium high refresh rate 1440p gaming monitor from a design perspective

The Review LG Didn't Want You To See: LG 32GP850 Tested

Hey folks.

I just got my PG329Q from Amazon today. Some of you may have seem some comments where I asked if this was the "one for me" and now I can say the answer is a resounding "YES!" - it is definitely the one for me.

Some context and backstory of what I had going on over the last six weeks:

I sold a PG278Q to my friend because I wanted a 32" curved display that was at least 144hz, G-Sync Certified / Module, 1 to 4ms, and 2560x1440 or better. I tried two separate ASUS XG32VQR displays with VA panels. I knew they weren't G-Sync certified but I know FreeSync works with G-Sync so I tried them. I regretted it. 

The first monitor had a manufacturing defect under the panel, like someone hit it with a philips head screwdriver but it had no external damage. RMA for a second. The second one had uneven brightness, vertical color bands, and an outrageous amount of flickering. Returned for a refund. 

The third monitor was a Dell S3220DGF, also a VA panel. It looked great and had an awesome minimalist design. Unfortunately, it isn't G-Sync certified and therefore was prone to flickering. I thought I could deal, but I couldn't. Back it went.

Enter the fourth monitor - an LG UltraGear 34GP83A-B. 3440x1440, 1ms NanoIPS, G-Sync Certified, 34", nice curve (similar to the previous 3). It's a fantastic display. It worked great. The only downside is I just could not get used to the aspect ratio and how wide it was. I tried. I sunk a solid 40 hours into games over a couple weeks and it just kept feeling awkward. That's the only negative I can say about that monitor. It's absolutely fantastic otherwise and if ultrawides are your thing, you'd probably love it.

Back to the present, today, right now with monitor number five:

PG329Q on my desk. Within NVCP I have FPS capped at 162, refresh rate at stock 165hz, low-latency mode ON, and V-Sync ON.

Within monitor settings, Adaptive Sync is ON and ELMB-SYNC is ON with middle Clarity position. I know some folks have issues with ELMB/ELMB SYNC but I have to say, I have none. I haven't noticed anything bad about this monitor at all. Yes, it isn't curved, but that's fine. It has everything else I'm looking for and the pixel density is perfectly fine as well. I love this thing. I haven't noticed any ghosting, no unevenness, no overt blacklight bleed but then again I'm playing games and not staring at a darkened screen.

I really, really like this display. As I said, I have not had any issues with it. I know some people have or will, but that can be said for any display.

It feels like a worthy successor to the PG278Q. This is the one for me!

ASUS PG329Q - A little story and a review from a new owner.

 The one huge glaring fault with this monitor makes calibrating or even trying to adjust the picture moot. The viewing angle at the edges is so large at the distance I sit, that the color gets washed out at the edges. No amount of calibrating or adjusting can fix this. They should have made this a curved screen if they wanted to use such a cheap lcd

 There are very few perks with this monitor: no USB for peripherals, no cool LED lights behind the screen, limited inputs, no split screen.  I could talk about the color and brightness, but there is no point. The one huge glaring fault with this monitor makes calibrating or even trying to adjust the picture moot. The viewing angle at the edges is so large at the distance I sit, that the color gets washed out at the edges

At least the price was OK

5, while also improving the black level and overall contrast. If you own this monitor, we highly recommend trying out these settings. LG 32GK650 comes with a not very usual combination of QHD resolution, VA panel and a 144Hz refresh rate, which makes it an interesting choice for gaming. It's worth noting that beside the 32GK650-F we're presenting today, which comes with a FreeSync support, LG also offers an almost identical 32GK650-G, which is G-Sync certified

 At its max refresh rate, LG 32GK650 acts quite good for a VA based monitor, although naturally response time is not on the same level as faster TN monitors. Therefore, this monitor is not aimed at eSports or competitive FPS gamers, but more towards those that like to enjoy good graphics and the game itself. LG did implement an option called 1ms motion blur reduction, which is in fact a backlight strobing between each frame that does reduce pixel persistence and response time. Even though it still doesn't reach 1ms, the overall result is still pretty good

 It is the LG 32GK650-F. Now it's hard not to be impressed by its size. At 32 inches, this monitor is on the upper limit of usability when it comes to gaming, at least if you keep it on your desk, but it sure makes an impression. Design is fairly simple, but modern with thin top and side bezels, which make it suitable for multi-monitor rigs, though we doubt many users will go for two or three 32-inch monitor surround setups

 Variable refresh rate is active between 48 and 144Hz and monitor also supports LFC, which doubles each frame if the frame rate drops under the 48FPS. It's worth noting that this monitor also has an impressively low input lag of only 8.5ms, which is one of the best results we've measured so far on a gaming monitor. VA panel does have a bad side though, in the form of a slower pixel response, especially in darker scenes

Large 32" screen and an interesting combination of QHD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and a VA panel, make LG 32GK650-F an interesting choice for many, but for some gamers it might just be a dream come true.

OK for Gaming, Terrible for anything else

 As you can see the stand there, you got the one little bezel on the bottom, with your LG logo and then, when you get to the sides, you pretty much get that borderless effect. Now our display doesn't go edge to edge, but there's no bezel. Now I want to backside. As you see the stand, you got the red accents on the back of stand, which is pretty cool

 Then you got your tilt up and down, and if you swing it all the way up top, you can bring it all the way down like this. But now, as you see here it sitting, no, you definitely can't get. This is one big man magenta anyway, it hits my desk so to get it all the way to the sides. You got tilted back to go like that, because honestly uses the same arm as the 27-inch did the exact same size and only goes to the same height, which is just crazy because this 32-inch, like I said you can't the 2072

 So you can have a quick select down there if you'd like like, if you're watching a movie or playing a game, you can just switch those easily I'm over here yeah one millisecond motion: a reduction you're free sync. Now this has free sync extended basic and off. That'S not gon na make a huge difference right um, but the 1440p like, I cannot stress it enough coming from 1080 and again view and 4k before this 1440 is, I mean it's just perfect is right there for perfect, like it really shocked me because I didn't Think it would be much of an increase from 1080, but I mean seriously, it is incredible. I highly recommend you give a 1440p a shot if you were recommended and again, your graphics cards are gon na have to support them, and the other thing you may be asking which again was another big concern of mine is 32 inches like dude come on man

 Now I want to backside. As you see the stand, you got the red accents on the back of stand, which is pretty cool. There'S our wire organizer that I was talking about here as you can just bring your wires through or I like, bringing my mouse core through it as well. Just kind of give it relieves a little slack there, a little red accents around the backside and everything yeah

LG 32GK650F 144hz + 1440p Gaming Monitor

I've been reading so many reviews on "budget friendly" 1440p monitors but I'm not too sure which one would be the best/most reliable. I've been looking at VA panels just because I'm more likely to play single player, high graphic games. I was thinking of a price range of 300-400.

The monitors i keep seeing are the asus tuf vg27wq and aoc cq27g2u but people have been saying the aoc has bad ghosting and motion blur.

Acer nitro is another one I've been looking into.
