Well we got the LG SmartThinQ app to run an connect to the frig. 1. There is a setting that prevents the defroster during "On Peak" power hours, but the schedule only allows up to 4 hour block, here in Phoenix, APS has peak hours from 3pm to 8pm, which is 5 hours, why is the app linited to 4 hours? 2. No option to turn off the button beep

I called LG for repair and was told because it had a new coolant system, there were no qualified service techs in my area. Really? I live in the LA area. This is the most expensive refrigerator we've ever purchased and by far THE WORST.  We bought it from our local Best Buy.  After having it for only two years, the food wasn't being kept cold in either the fridge or the freezer.  We didn't buy the extended warranty thinking that we paid enough money for what seemed like a good product

We had to call a local service technician who said that the defrost heater had to be replaced which we did three months ago

  It has all these bells and whistles but can't even do the thing we purchased it for -- to keep food cold!!  What a total disappointment and a waste of money!!
