             The "EasyReach" bins at the front of the fridge felt a bit fragile. Tyler Lizenby/CNET 	 	 	Other features pitch in for more flexible storage, too. The Glide N' Serve Drawer on the bottom shelf makes it easy to get ingredients tucked away in the back of the fridge, and the slide-in shelf up top helps create extra room for tall items.  After more research on my own, I found out that these compressors have a 5-year warrantee, so I had new hope. Too bad LG did not volunteer this information on the phone. So I decided to call LG directly once again. On November 10, I called LG to inform them about the diagnosis of a compressor problem

 After some research, we found that there is a class action lawsuit for this problem before 2018. Shame on LG for continuing to sell cheap, unreliable products. After more research on my own, I found out that these compressors have a 5-year warrantee, so I had new hope. Too bad LG did not volunteer this information on the phone

 Not enough space compare to my old same size refrigerator. Even the ice maker/ice dispenser is small and if you DON'T use or dispense the ice for 2-3 days, the ice converts in one big chunk of ice and can not dispense any more. Then we have to take the ice dispenser out, shake and break the ice to dispense. 

Looks like not enough space. We had same size around 27.5 cu.ft Samsung 2 door refrigerator for last 16 years

 There is not enough space for more the 2 one gallon milk jars. Mostly, when we purchase new milk, there is always some left over milk, so when we buy 2 pack, there is NO space for left over milk. There is not space vertically. Same with freezer sections

Otherwise runs great, looks great and has enough interior LED lights, after all it's only month old.

Bad: Noisy. The top doors do not close all the way even after giving them a healthy shove. The old LG closed easier than this one does (A step back in design). Another step back is the light on the ice maker is very dim

  BTW, thank goodness we got the Square Trade extra warranty coverage on that lemon!  Though most repairs were LG’s responsibility, and getting service from them was always a nightmare.

Not necessarily a reliable model

 The thing is, our kitchen design is a standard design (I am thinking it's time to remove that wall).  The lockouts work for the dispenser but not for the controls. We have a fairly innovative kitten when it comes to things. Let's just say that waking up to the freezer no longer set to 0 degrees, but instead to -8 degrees, and the refrigerator no longer set to 40 degrees but to 48 degrees had me setting up an interior surveillance camera, and now wishing we had full lockouts after watching how the kitten was doing it

 I'd measured the doorway and all spaces involving bringing in the refrigerator. I paid for delivery knowing there are issues in how a refrigerator is handled. I was prepared when the delivery folks arrived, looked at the door and said they couldn't deliver it. I said, flatly, I had measured, and they could

 The layout is well designed for the way we use a refrigerator and freezer (the bottom drawer holds more than one large turkey if that matters to you). The controls for the refrigerator are on the door, and some are in the app. There is a lockout for the water and ice dispensing. There is also room to fit a pitcher and tall glasses into the dispenser

 Same for the LG model range, the lock outs do not do enough when it comes to this kitten.  The other issue is delivery. I'd measured the doorway and all spaces involving bringing in the refrigerator. I paid for delivery knowing there are issues in how a refrigerator is handled

Good at keeping food cold

..  I’m inclined to buy this unit, with a full warranty, through Costco. Who offers customers satisfaction, a commitment which has allowed many retailers customers loyalty for many years

I’ve been looking into a replacement fridge for my SAMSUNG, came with the house. Bad ice maker design issue. I’ve spoken with a lot of repair technicians. I like the features and price point of this unit

Compressor reliability

Been using the fridge for close to a month and really enjoy how quiet it is. No crazy loud sounds when the compressor turns on like the previous Samsung and GE fridges I’ve had. I like the space and the 4 doors ( 2 lower freezer doors).
