The Bent is a softer ski with more camber, which is in theory good for learning on, but in all honesty I would push her more towards something like the Line Pandora 94 or the Blizzard Black Pearl 97 — still softer, still more cambered, but with carbon reinforcement so the ski won’t twist when she’s trying to whip into a stop on cascade concrete. Atomic’s Maven or K2’s Mindbender 90 Carbon would be in a similar category as well, if even less rigid than the skis I just mentioned. If you want to stick with a twin tip because she’s getting into park, great! The K2 Poacher or the Line Blend would do very well for that — again, carbon-reinforced softer skis (with cap construction vs. the Bent’s sidewall construction.

The Line Pandora (94) is in a similar category, slightly softer but the tip-to-tail carbon gives the ski a lot more stability on turns. Atomic’s Maven (93) is a similar core type, though it has a bit less sidecut and imo tends to force longer turns. K2 also makes a Mindbender 90C (carbon, not the TI) that is similarly shaped, but not as stable, and tends to be way cheaper if you want a progression ski to swap out in a few years; I don’t think its necessarily the most versatile option for what you want to do though.

\- Line Pandora 94 - Very fun ski! If she is exploring powder, this ski is light and wide enough but not too wide that she cant hit groomers with it.

I skied the Line Pandora 94 as my daily driver last season (love all of Line's graphics). They're playful for groomers and can handle some off-piste. I ended up sizing wider this season (Santa Ana 98) because I realized the Pandoras could not handle deep days here. Depending on how often you go out west, I would go with the Blizzard Black Pearl 88 and not compromise on east coast performance, rather demoing/renting when you're out west.
