Every day carry fixed blade made from bowlers at him, 390 we've got a nice satin finish on the full height flat ground blade, a very subtle clip near the tip and a crowned spine for a very comfortable place to rest. The thumb handle scales are made from contoured and 3d machined g10 or would obviously orange g10 on this version attached with a stainless Torx hardware crown spine continues throughout the handle, and then we've got a 3d machined titanium lanyard bead helping to draw the knife from the Leather sheath overall, this is a nice compact, EDC, fixed blade, very comfortable in the hand, a nice functional size for an everyday carry fixed blade and if it looks familiar, it is essentially the fixed blade equivalent of the award-winning lion's tail tre

 As you can see, these knives are very similar in the overall size and design, slight differences being that the tre has a stonewashed finish versus the satin and has more of a drop versus the subtle clip. But overall, these knives are going to be very comparable in size and design and, of course, materials being the m390 blade steel and then g10 on both of these and here's a quick shot for size comparison. We have the m1 and Tre in the center on the far left. We have a spider coat delica 4 and on the far right we have the spyderco para 3

 You get some extended grip area there. So, overall, the m1 is an excellent option. If you're looking for a pocket or belt carry fixed blade for everyday carry or for outdoor use, the align steel M one carries via and Italian leather sheath setup for belt. Carry it's got a nice heavy belt loop here for secure, carry and rides relatively high on the belt for ease of access and use

A lynyard doesn’t replace the need for larger handle, no place for my pinky. A bit small blade for daily food cutting. I would prefer a kydex sheath since it try to cut the leather sheath if not careful when pulling it out or inserting it in.

Beautiful but...

I was looking for a 3” fixed blade to try out for EDC and this was the one I was recommended on Reddit. It’s blade shape and handle build fits about 85% of what I’m looking for in a fixed blade and I think I will definitely like it once I get to carrying it.  The leather sheath it comes with is very nicely stitched and made. While I am not a fan of leather sheaths due to sweat absorption and increased wear over time, credit where credit is due with such a nice production leather sheath

 The sheath should be the same quality as the knife because without It how can you carry the knife? Nobody buys this to keep in a drawer. For the price of this knife the sheath Should stay stitched longer than a week AND the maker should stand behind their products. No more lion steel for me ever.

 One fell off my belt because the belt loop fell off. I contacted lion steel and they never emailed me back. The sheath should be the same quality as the knife because without It how can you carry the knife? Nobody buys this to keep in a drawer.  I don’t have much use for a tiny fixed blade. It was my fault for not reading the description. Another issue is they are charging me to return it, now i’m pretty that wasnt written anywhere.
