 This has occurred with every one of these mice that I have ever owned. I could replace this button myself, but it's difficult to find that part online so I usually end up buying new mice before the first set of batteries ever runs out.

I love these mice for their back/forward buttons and size under my hand. I've used them for probably 8 or more years. My one complaint is the left-click button that attached to the circuit board starts to wear out after only 1.5 - 2 years, causing unpredictability of clicks and dropped click+drags

Guaranteed to not work great after 1.5-2 years

 The battery life of this mouse is absolutely phenomenal. I am super super impressed with the battery life, and it also uses the unifying receiver. So as you can see right here, the unifying receiver is very very small, which is extremely convenient and it also basically allows you to connect multiple devices to a computer only using this one receiver. And that is extremely convenient, because just as I said I got this mouse as a combo with a wireless keyboard, and I connect both the mouse and the keyboard to my computer only using this one receiver

 Took some getting used to. Unfortunately I’m sending it back for a replacement. The scroll wheel stick in a certain spot, and you can actually see a bump or something on the side rubber of the wheel. Hopefully this will fix my problem, but the wheel does not roll as easy as my m215 even in the spot it doesn’t stick

 Alright, so this is a mouse tester, just a website that I really like whenever I need to test a mouse, and what I like about this website is it does also have these extra buttons on the side, so this one and this one. So it can show all of the mouse buttons, like the left and right ones, the mouse wheel scrolling up and down, the mouse wheel pressing, again these side buttons, and if you're wondering what these side buttons do, I can show you right now. So let's just click on a random site, so let's say Amazon, and you can see that there are these back and forward buttons here, so when we click the back button on the mouse, it goes to the page before the one we're on right now, and when we click the forward button, it goes to the page after we're on, the one we're on right now. So I like this one a lot, I like this mouse a lot, because not many mouses have this, and the fact that this mouse is also pretty cheap, that's actually pretty good, so I would recommend this over a lot of other more expensive mouses I've seen

 So let's open this up, and there we go, there is the mouse. So surprisingly it doesn't have anything in the back to prevent the batteries from charging, so that's a bit weird, but it is off anyway so I guess that's okay. So let's take these out, put them in the right way, and then here is the little receiver, you plug this into your laptop, so let's take that out
