I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

 DO NOT OVERPACK THEM. The seams on one of the small bags ripped after I tried to close it with a little too much in it.

After 9 days, the 2x large bags still seem to be airtight, but I can tell by the various scuffs and near-kinks that they probably will get holes in them on the next trip that I use them for. Ideally, I'd like to see these be more durable.

Good but not very durable

  But these things are kind of awful, as the seals fail really quickly if the bag is very full, and pretty quickly just with normal wear and tear.  On an eight day trip I was glad to have brought a spare because the first one failed after just six days of solo backpacking.  Don't overfill, and treat really carefully - especially while sealing.

They work, but they're really fragile

 For backpacking we thought they would hold up a bit better. I didn't do research on it, but I have a feeling things aren't so odor-proof if the top doesn't close..

These are OK, but for the price I would like the closure to last longer.  Just about everyone I've met on the AT has had a similar problem with these.  They should switch to a slide lock and find a way to make it more durable.
