 The game with these four landmarks, with a gray side, face up in front of you and return in the extras to the game box. The rest of the cards are establishments, there are starting regular and major ones. The starting establishments are easy to identify because they have a different colored back compared to the rest of the cards. So to begin players will take a wheat field and bakery from the starting establishments returning any leftovers to the box

 First, then, all green and blue and finally any purple ones. Instead of constructing an establishment, a player may instead complete a landmark by paying its cost and then flipping it over. These can be completed in any order and once flipped over, they provide you with a special power. These powers are not active when the landmark is gray side up, but they're still written there just to remind you of what they can do

 In order, so you could save up and complete the radio tower first, if you really wanted to and that's how you play machi Koro now, here's something to consider you may want to get a variety of different kinds of establishments and that way, no matter what is Rolled you're more likely to get some coins from the bank. On the other hand, you may try to stack up on some of the specific establishments and that way, if you get those certain number, while your payout could be quite large and there's also some other establishments that combo with other ones. For example, the fruit and vegetable stand will give you more coins based on the number of wheat fields that you have.  So, even if everyone got two you're never going to get through the landmark deck so shuffling that you're going to have different options, every game, you may not have the loan option next time, yeah all right, we've never gotten the launch pad like no. It'S never come up. The loan office has come up in a couple games and the launch pad has never come out, so i think it really. It does a good job of adding variety too, because that was one of the the critiques of machi core that i've heard

 These decks are pretty big and again the landmarks. It'S a it's because there's so many and if you played, i think it'll play up to five players. So, even if everyone got two you're never going to get through the landmark deck so shuffling that you're going to have different options, every game, you may not have the loan option next time, yeah all right, we've never gotten the launch pad like no. It'S never come up

 All of these. It'S a mixture of again things that affect all players, so reduce the build cost of the launch pad by five coins for all players. So if someone builds the observatory, they get the credit for building a landmark, but they make the win cheaper for everybody. So that again, that is probably strategically the single biggest change to the game and again, instead of having even with the millionaires row and the the the harbor expansion, you still watch yeah everyone

 You have stacks of cards that activate on numbers, one through six on seven through 12 and then the landmarks and you will notice it's a big old deck of landmarks and they are all different. They are all different. So you take these three stacks. You put out five cards until there are five unique cards

Whats the worst board game you've ever played and why?

 I kind of don’t even want to pull it out anymore because it’s hard not to want to play the same strategy over again. If there were randomized skills or landmarks or something to make it interesting it might be make it better.

Replayabilty questionable

 They usually affect other players like here, take three coins from each opponent. If i roll a seven the order matters, a bit much red cards always go off. First, then blue, then green, then purple then any special buildings that you might have now. Why are players collecting coins, you're passing us around collecting coins and coins? At the end of your turn, you can buy something so again you can buy one of the establishments or, more importantly, you can buy a landmark when you buy a landmark

 Also, the third one wins you the game. When you build a landmark, sometimes they will bring a new rule into play. This says: if you don't build anything on your turn, you get five coins from the bank and that's all players. It happens

 Oh you so, and so, oh you know what the game's over let's play it again and it really isn't a very long game. The the the changes from this to the first one so for machu girl one. There was just a bunch of cards out there, like the original deck builder dominion, a bunch of cards that you would buy and put in front of you now the expansions change it to a sliding line, which i don't know if that made the game better. But here the sliding line works because they have a one through six and a seven through 12

We all have had this problem before I assume. We play a new game and for some reason it just doesn't sit right with us even though everybody else seems to love it. We go online and see that it is getting praised as the revelation that the genre needed and start asking ourselves why exactly we didn't enjoy it as much as 9 out 10 dentists would. It can be any sort of big or small, logical or irrational reason.   
Twilight Imperium was just too long, Wingspans theme bored you to death, Betrayal at house on the hill was too unbalanced, cockroach poker had cockroaches, you didn't know how to pronounce Xia, War of the Ring didn't feature an Elrond miniature, Dead of Winter's exposure die was too stressful, Ice Cool's penguins were the wrong color, Terraforming Mars' artwork reminded you of an 8th-grade computer science class project you had to do...

What was a game you knew was a decent game-design but you just couldn't get into because of a flaw that you knew wasn't actually that big of a deal. Maybe a Kickstarter game you had been waiting for and really tried to love but just couldn't because of xyz?
