 So you can check now. There are four things in this review that I really want to touch on that I think you're going to really enjoy about this shoe the most. There's so much to talk about the shoe, but just the four things we're going to focus on. Firstly, let's have a look at the Float Pro midsole

 Running through the long grass, your socks and your feet stay dry. Our concern has been crossing rivers like we've just done, and we've just seen water leaving the shoe. So you can check now.  I mean, we've been jumping from rock to rock. We've been in some credible trails where you can really feel that the legs dig deep in this super grip with the shoe itself. Merrell have used 30% recyclable product in the shoe. I mean, eco is a big thing in today's modern society

 If you're undecided between these shoes I would definitely go with the Merrell Moab Speed. It's a it's a newer shoe, it's got better technology in it and I think you're gonna have a better experience. Thank you, bye.

 Do you want to look good on the trail? We're all hikers, we're all concerned about how we look. You want to look good and so in this case I think you know beauty's in the eye of the beholder. Maybe it's because they're new and so I've got like you know new car, new shoe bias but I do think the Merrell Moab Speed look pretty awesome. They've also got slightly better features

 I think that they do have a rock plate, yes they do, but they also have a very very thick midsole which provides a lot of cushion for you but it also provides some more protection. So if you step on a large rock or something this shoe has enough enough stuff here that it's going to sort of absorb that rock. The Merrell MQM Flex 2 also has a rock plate you can kind of see it right here if I bring that up like it's underneath the sole right so this rock plate and it also performs very well. Not quite as well as the Merrell Moab Speed although these shoes are a year old so that might be part of the problem

 These are shoes that are built in such a way and they're made in such a way that they're gonna fit a lot of feet. I have a pretty normal foot, my sister wouldn't say so, but I do have a pretty normal foot and both of these fit very very well. You're not gonna run into those issues where there's like a really high arch that's kind of hard it's like digging into the side of your foot. They're also true to size so I wear a size 12 normal and these fit perfectly

Not terrible, not great.

 As we would expect from Meryl, great out of the box comfort, really nice internal padding, feels super plush as soon as you slip into it. A little bit more secure and precisely fitted than some of the traditional ones that you may have come across. Aimed at someone who's wanting to go that little bit lighter and faster again, great as a general purpose travel shoe covering ground with a lightweight pack, moving that a little bit higher tempo. Wouldn't be one we'd suggest for trail running but certainly someone who's moving at a little bit more pace or potentially just taking out for a more casual day

 If you were wearing them casually on holiday just meandering around they'd be super comfy but at the same time faster pace day on the hills and the mountains they'd work really nicely. Gore-Tex liner as we would come to expect so really good levels of waterproofness reinforced around the front to give you really good abrasion resistance. If you want a shoe that can be comfy for walking around town in the morning but at the same time cut it out on the trails in the afternoon, really great little choice.

 Aimed at someone who's wanting to go that little bit lighter and faster again, great as a general purpose travel shoe covering ground with a lightweight pack, moving that a little bit higher tempo. Wouldn't be one we'd suggest for trail running but certainly someone who's moving at a little bit more pace or potentially just taking out for a more casual day. Beautiful sticky Vibram compound, might not give us really big mileage but loads of grip in the interim in those mixed conditions. Again, these are fantastic if you're doing a bit of low-level walking to mid-level walking, you want something that's lightweight, Gore-Tex as well ticks the boxes.  Again, it's just going to be perfect. I mean, low level, you can even wear this dog walking if you really want to. I know I say that in pretty much every single video, but dog walking or daily commuting, or just a short walk on your lunch break during your work periods, pop them in your bag, and then there's a bit of woodland, or if you want to go for a little walk, but you don't want to wear your everyday shoes, pop these on, and you'll be absolutely fine.  Again, I'm going to get a little bit geeky. The laces are flat laces, which are fantastic, which basically means you can really adjust the overall, the tightness or the looseness of the lace itself due to the eyelet system that they've got here. But for low level to mid-level hiking, this would be perfect for you. It's got great grip, great variancy in the grip, Gore-Tex, flat leg shoe, the flatlock shoes, laces, keep saying shoes

 Hopefully, we'll get that one day down to 100%, which means, yes, it's just a fantastic initiative. The fact that we're going to be planting a tree is really good with every order that's placed, but the fact of the matter of that one tree then emits or neutralizes three other webtog orders from carbon emissions is just amazing. And I think that that's a really important metric, especially if you're on a multi-day hike, because if you're like me, you've been on those hikes where you're at the end of the day, you cannot wait to get your hiking shoes off because your feet hurt so bad

 They won the test for comfort against the five other shoes. I found these shoes to be the most comfortable shoe. So, I believe that that is true. Bellows tongue keeps out debris

 That's how comfortable they are. And I think that that's a really important metric, especially if you're on a multi-day hike, because if you're like me, you've been on those hikes where you're at the end of the day, you cannot wait to get your hiking shoes off because your feet hurt so bad. These shoes, you will not experience that. They're super, super, super comfortable and squishy

 I didn't think that they were going to be this nice. But they're really sturdy. They remind me of the Air Monarchs. That kind of cushioning, that kind of feel is very sturdy, very stable kind of thing
