Drags across low pile carpet
I paid for this unit out of my pocket. I did not receive this product in exchange for my review. I've purchased other Miele vacuums in the past. I pretty disappointed in the floor brush that comes with this vacuum. Miele states that is good for low pile carpets and rugs, however it drags across low ...
I would recommend a Miele C3 canister style vacuum. I have a more basic one, without the power head and it's great for hardwood, tile and low-pile carpet.
Worth the price
I’ve used only bargain vacuums my whole life and finally decided to spend the money for a better experience. My first decision was to get a canister vac, because maneuvering an upright around furniture and using it for stairs was driving me nuts. Once you want a canister, the choices are pretty star...

A top-notch canister vacuum, built to last
Praised by nearly everyone as excellent, this nimble canister vacuum works on any kind of flooring, runs quiet, and should last for decades. This model is great for those with asthma and allergies, but it requires bags.
We have a Miele Calima. Our cleaning lady suggested this one specifically. That woman knows her vacuums. They are not cheap.
Quality can be worth the price.
Owned less than a year: 6/10-Initial sticker shock was hard to overcome. 6/10-Sleek, shiny, find the chartreuse ugly as sin but tried upon Consumer Reports recommendation. 10/10-Great suction, reasonably quiet, easy to use because of the superb, meticulous design. 8/10-Reasonably light, for easy man...
* Best filtration on market with yearly HEPA filter. * Larger bags (SEBO E3: .92 gallons, Miele Complete C3: 1.18 gallons). * Miele's SEB-228 power nozzle does better on very high pile carpets vs. SEBO's ET-1.
Couldn’t be more happy with my new Miele
My Dad and I went to my grandmothers to deep clean her house while she was in the hospital. When he brought in his compact Miele vacuum in I was unimpressed. It was light and small so I didn’t have high hopes it would be able to accomplish the deep cleaning I had planned. After we were finished I wa...
