Trying to obviously locate that mass behind the strike, because from a feedback perspective you're always looking to hit it solid, right, and really the mass needs to be behind the strike in order for it to feel solid, to maximize ball speed, to get consistent launch windows through launch and spin, so that's a big part of what this is as well. We know the delivery differences between a short iron, a mid iron, and a long iron, the progression and angle of attack, and the progression and shaft lean, so those require different CG locations in order to maximize the solid strike behind those three. Makes a lot of sense

Mizuno Pro 221 Irons Forgiveness Review: Can it be that Forgiving.... the answer is yes, but only up to a certain loft. As soon as you get into the longer irons where the loft comes off the forgiveness tails off. Anything from PW to 7 iron, possibly is the most forgiving blade I have ever tested.... Couple the looks, feel and this level of help in an iron, could you go full blade split set?
