I was very disappointed when this knife arrived, I had always heard good things about Not a knives, but this one wasn't very sharp when it arrived and the tip of the blade was messed up. I suppose for the price it was fine but it didn't come in in great shape. I have since sharpened the knife and ground the tip, it tooke an edge well. I like the shape of the blade and I think it will make a good utility/camp knife I just don't think out of the box it is deserving of the praise moras get

 For the price, the sheath is fine, and Mora designed it slightly better than the companions.  Lastly, I looove the little short, yet wide blade.

 Spine of the blade is unfinished, but easy to finish square with a file and diamond sharpener. Blade, handle, sheath all good, and you can't beat the price. l'll call this one medium duty. Not for batoning, but should be reasonably durable for everyday outdoor use

Not as good as expected

  Pros: 1.) Edge retention and sharpening- because it's a carbon blade, it's going to retain its edge more than other knives in this price range. Not only that, it's a scandi grind, and is therefore easier to sharpen than most other microbevel blades. 2

 4.) Not as much of a con as it's more of my preference, but it's a rat tail tang instead of a full, which could lend itself to some breakage down the road, but I have yet to run into that.  Overall, this is a fantastic pack knife for new and experienced backpackers, hikers, and outdoors enthusiasts. I will continue to use Morakniv for their superior quality for price, and outstanding utilitarian designs, and can not recommend this knife enough

Fantastic budget pack knife!

 Overall, the Companion is a better knife, but the Pro C is still a great tool with a blade geometry not found on other Moras. I use my Companion for general farm work, but I wanted a finger guard and a shorter, wider blade for messy, wet, fast paced work. The Pro C fits the bill, despite my grumbling about the new grip design, and will probably be my go-to blade this harvest season. For a sub $20 beat em up work knife, you cant go wrong

Good knife with some odd design choices

 For what I'm doing with it (woodcraft/woodworking/general utility) the sheath isn't exactly what I'd like, but it's entirely serviceable. For the price, it's really hard to beat a Mora, and this knife goes with me everywhere now. I will definitely continue to give Mora of Sweden my business and I recommend their products to anyone who needs a low cost and high performing knife, especially for outdoor applications.

 But, they are exceptional in their price-point. Lose one? Eighteen bucks to replace it vs north of eighty. Good value and excellent quality.

The Morakniv is an excellent knife, quality made, and will last a long time. The design is such the handle grips perfectly and the blade feels like an extension of the hand. As a tradesman I have seen these around for years and never paid them much attention because they don't look as cool as other knives. Then I got one and it has become my main knife that I always reach for
