First True HIFI System

Yes! I am aware that I don't have walls, but I do have priorities... I recently purchased a pair of Bowers and Wilkins 706 S2 Bookshelf speakers, that are sitting on STAV 24 Stands, and are being powered by my also new NAD C368. So far I am very impressed with the sound of these stand mounters, especially in the imaging department!

Upgrade time has never been so hard

Overall impressions is that these two speakers are fairly close. I trialed both in near-field and mid-field using my NAD c368, and I’m having trouble deciding which I want to buy. I’d say overall the Revel’s are more “mature” and neutral, whilst the KEFs are a little more energetic at the top end to the point where they may be a little harsh.

Very good company. No quibble full refund when I was not satisfied with the product. I would certainly purchase from them again.

I just upgraded from an older Yamaha home theater receiver (RXV-1800) to a NAD C368, and honestly I'm having a hard time hearing any improvements. The speakers are Paradigm Premiere 700f's and I'm streaming music through a Sonos Port (Amazon HD and Tidal). The speakers never sounded bad with the Yamaha but I thought that I would hear more of an improvement going from a HTR to a decent 2 channel setup.

Having heard the C368, I don't doubt that it will sound good. No dirac live so no real bass management with this amp, though it has a low/high pass filter which may be the same as the C368 (150Hz crossover, if u need a lower crossover, you need to send full range to the sub and use the sub's crossover) but we will see.
