While this blender is more limited in features and performance than the pricier options here, it's a great cheaper option for all kinds of protein shake recipes. Using its 72-ounce main jar, it can make a smooth blend with fibrous ingredients like blueberries and spinach, although you'll notice more grains left over than with the KitchenAid or Vitamix.

 So I'm gon na wash all this and then we'll start with my rx bars and just see how everything performs. So something that I do want to point out is that this face has like little suction cups on the bottom, which is very helpful, because we all know that blenders can get a little bit cranky when you have like a lot of stuff in them.   This proves to me that the machine is not the quality I had hoped for.  I can't believe the new machine won't come with a new manufacturer warranty.  I won't purchase Ninja products again.

  For no reason, while making a simple single serving smoothie, the motor stopped.  My disappointment really came after talking to Ninja about their policy which is to replace the motor, but for $22, and with no warranty beyond the original purchase date of the original broken machine.  This proves to me that the machine is not the quality I had hoped for.  I can't believe the new machine won't come with a new manufacturer warranty

 I like the speed and efficiency of the ninja. It'S also very easy to clean. You can clean all the parts with warm soapy water or on the top rack of your dishwasher. Both the pitcher and the food processor Bowl are square bottoms, so it's very easy to clean

 It comes with lots of different items and they will take a lot of space on your counter with the mega kitchen system, you get a blender or food processor and the single serve cup, since the food processor does not come with any attachments for slicing and shredding. I have had this blender for about 5 months. We use the single serve cup at least twice a day and sometimes more. My only complaint is that the blades on the blending lid for the single serve have become loose twice. The first time it happened I contacted Ninja and they sent a replacement

Blends great, but...

  Bought the longest extended warranty offers by Amazon on this product; it's the only way this investment will make sense, financially, for me.  Believe me, for this cost, I will update on this as the years pass!

  My chief complaint with Ninjas is that the acrylic they use for their bowls and pitchers is seamed and in short time those seams ALWAYS crack. Replacing a bowl or pitcher costs more than half what a whole new set-up costs. Either make the replacement bowls, pitchers much more affordable (seriously, how many whole working Ninja motors are in the landfills because of this?!? And I'm not even an environmentalist!) or make them out of aluminum or steel. Also, the lids break easily for both the blender and the food processors (ALL brands food processors with the acrylic plastic lids, actually)

Didn't notice what it was missing...

 However, it is a lot more powerful than other blenders we have had, so using it takes a lot less time and smoothies are impressively more smooth. I like that the blender jar has a larger capacity, that the lids lock on, and that the blender lid has an open-able spout. It is over-all a good product and we will be keeping it.
