But they're exciting and affordable, and are the perfect choice for a lot of people. I'm willing to pay extra for something that I can possibly trust to be more robustly built, has arguably less anti social styling, potentially better control, and has more luxury features like NFC locking and a cool dash that makes it easier to control speed modes and other settings (looked neat from the video, unlike the current trigger ones that just to me feel very cheap, unintuitive in the menus, and toy like to me.). I have a Niu KQi3 Pro that I bought for the same reasons as above, and I'm likely going to sell it to get a GT1. I have a City Rider still for little errands or when I need to take it inside a supermarket, so this seems like a more fun option for slightly longer trips as an in-between between the City Rider and my motorcycle.

NIU KQi3 Pro (promising newcomer from a quality brand, neat antitheft features). Vsett 8 (the best bang for buck imo, long maintenance intervals, good quality with full suspension, NFC locking, good range and ~25mph [freely adjustable] top speed.

You won't find nearly the same level of comfort from a low-end scooter. Honestly, either up your budget and get a Ninebot Max or Niu KQi3, or use your gift card on something else altogether. Especially if you live in a place with many road imperfections. My first scooter was the S2 Pro and Ohboy did I end up regretting it.
