However, the length of the neck may be a boon for those with electric sockets deeply set in the car's console. If the size of this unit suits your needs, then you'll be happy to know that it delivers a very loud, high-fidelity sound.

 What's going on guys macjunkie here welcome back to another video and in today's video We're going to be taking a look at the new look see KM 18 now This is actually the upgraded version of it I had the first KM 18 transmitter and then I switched to this one from some mind and now I have the upgraded K a KM 18 which has a few of her a few little extra features So I'm going to go and unbox this thing and set it up and we're going to get to seeing what it does All right guys, so in the box it comes with the KM 18 itself, which does have a quick charge port Which is really nice It then comes with a aux cable as well as a little booklet on how the thing works But I'm pretty sure we're gonna be able to figure that out All right, so I plugged it in and it actually has a color screen That's actually really interesting when I plugged in and showed that new look see logo and it's actually a lot more They're kind of futuristic looking if that makes sense knowing that this is meant for you know older cars without the Bluetooth But that is really cool. So it has an equalizer as well, which I saw that you can actually change the equalizer And I think it has a visualizer So I'm gonna go ahead and search for this on my phone and connect it to my phone and then we're gonna see how It sounds alright guys. Now I'm on my Android phone This applies to Apple or Android all you have to do is go to your Bluetooth settings However, you get there and once you're there All you have to do is go and search for new devices and look for the one that's called KM18 color and then just go ahead and pair to it So as you can see here it is at the bottom I'm just going to click on it and it's just gonna quickly pair to my phone really quickly as you can see it is now Connected and ready to play some audio and while I'm screen recording I'm just gonna go ahead and plug in my charger to the quick charging port and I'm just gonna plug in my phone and see If it says that it's quick charging just to verify that So my phone is now plugged in and I'm gonna see if it tells me that it's quick charging Yep, as you can see it says it's fast charging and it's estimating 42 minutes to charge So yes, this does have a quick charge 3.0

 I'm just gonna start driving around I'm gonna listen to some music and then I'm gonna come back and tell you how this sounds compared to my Old one right here. I'm also going to be doing a test using the headphone jack or like, you know The aux cable which my phone luckily does have so I'm gonna be doing a test To see which of the Bluetooth or the you know, head the headphone cable sounds better. So I'll be back when I do All Right guys, so we are back from the drive And so I was listening to a lot of different songs while driving and This thing sounds a lot better than where is it? This one sounds a lot better than this one here This one has it seems to be it's just a little bit more muddy This one the KM 18 color has better highs Everything is a little bit crisper a little bit more crisp and the base is a little bit less Muddy so you can get it's a lot more punchy base and it's not as resonating and deep But I can change that on my car which I changed on my cars EQ to make the base a little better Overall, I think it's pretty darn good It is a little bit up there in price for a FM transmitter It's about $28 that one was something like 20 so about an $8 difference, but this one has a very nice I really like the volume knob It actually works. So so that's one thing that's good

 same annoying 'Pairing' announcement, same blue lighted buttons, same battery voltage check upon start-up, same gooseneck, and exactly the same performance. (The VicTsing I got is black with silver trim; the Nulaxy is solid gloss black, but that's because they had more color choices). Exact same price, too. The manuals are different (the VicTsing offers 5-6 languages; the Nulaxy is in English only, and with different verbiage but the same basic instructions

In which I answer the burning question "Are the VicTsing and the Nulaxy FM transmitters the same?"

 It has a 5 volt capability with 2.1 amps, which it says right there. And then at the base port here, there is a built-in USB port. So you can connect your phone as far as charging capability

 * If your car will be sitting for longer than , say, an hour or so, make sure you remove it from the power port because it keeps drawing power even with the engine off and thus WILL drain your battery.

I'm satisfied with it

 It looks good and serves this purpose without being overly simple or too complex. Slight downsides are that the gloss black picks up fingerprints and that the adjustable neck ends up at a strange angle in my car with the screen upside down. But honestly, these things aren't big issues. I'd say that this device is actually the best $18 I've spent for a device in my car, because honestly, nothing beats going for a drive and listening to your own music, which is exactly what this device allows you to do

Works in one vehicle but not another

 You want to put this all the way down, have it sitting up, it won't move from there, I promise. This is very sturdy, secure, flexible, it's very nice. This comes in all black or you can get the gold version, which I got. Without further ado, let's go ahead and test this out and we'll go ahead and move on to my car
