With the Q1 I need to have an additional counterweight in the back of the ridiculously uncomfortable headstrap, just to make wearing it tolerable. That counterweight only added additional weight to the headset, which my neck has to compensate for in supporting. Turning your head too quickly can give you some mild whiplash if you aren't careful.

HONEST REVIEW // Oculus Quest 1 - Standalone VR for Beginners!!

I've been having a hell of a time capturing footage of a game for video-editing purposes, and at least when trying to capture 4k60 footage, OBS absolutely shits the bed even when the GPU is nowhere near maxed out. Meanwhile ReLive at 100Mbps bitrate still holds up more than well enough for YouTube processing and the footage came out perfectly.

I don't stream using the GPU encoder since if I'm streaming I output at 1080p and my 5900x is more than capable of that, but I figured it was worth reiterating for folks that might be interested in capturing HQ game footage in the future. Don't even try with OBS if you're using an AMD GPU.

 The ability to setup a play area in seconds is nice and the full 3D passthu cameras are awesome and should be standard on every headset made. At the moment the titles are somewhat limited but new ones are being released or ported all the time and there are plenty to keep you busy unless you've already played them all on another headset.  Definitely the worst out-of-the-box sound of the four headsets I've bought. Another huge issue with this headset is comfort. When you compare it to other headsets in your hand it doesn't feel much heavier. But when you put it on you sure feel it

 No matter how I adjusted the strap I could never get it to support any of the headset weight. To me it just seemed like the strap was designed for a much larger head than mine. I ended up buying a Vive deluxe audio strap and a VR Cover replacement face pad. Between the two they greatly improve the comfort

I have some Audio Technica wooden ear clips, I could never get a good fit.  They sounded good with pressure applied but were too loose otherwise.
