 Now I did a range test from 100% all the way down to 10%, averaging about 16.7 miles per hour, riding it semi aggressively in a pretty hilly environment, maxing out the speed on straightaways, but also doing a lot of slower carving. I weigh 165 pounds. The weather was 80 degrees Fahrenheit and I ended up getting right around 16

 Obviously since I'm not that technical, I don't think I would have really noticed that difference from a riding feel perspective, but I think it annoyed a lot of people just from a transparency aspect, which I can understand. Now the charging cap looks and feels pretty cheap in my opinion, kind of wish they put something a little more heavy duty. Now I did a range test from 100% all the way down to 10%, averaging about 16.7 miles per hour, riding it semi aggressively in a pretty hilly environment, maxing out the speed on straightaways, but also doing a lot of slower carving

 So the Challenger comes in two variations, the belt drive and the direct drive. I ended up going with the belt drive simply because I've never experienced a belt drive electric skateboard before. The overall power and torque of this board is pretty wild compared to the other boards I've tried in the past. Riding it is super fun, nice and agile with the double kingpins

4 miles with it. I think it's important to note that this was actually my second range test. The first one, the battery sensor disconnected at around 15 miles and the battery completely died. So I ended up having to open this board up and solder that battery sensor back on, which it works fine now, but that was a little concerning

Recommendations and Suggestions

 I don't want to go the same way again Yeah, I lost that footage by the way.  Um, I expect the difference to be about 20 15 20 percent something like this Some people say the difference can be 30 percent It's true. I think it really depends on the battery for me I think it's about 15 to 20 percent in my opinion 35 You should get it on a normal day If you don't carve don't stop and just go for a normal range ride I think I think the range is pretty accurate with 35 kilometers So the max range if you put the 15 percent that on of the battery you have left on your board And let me know in the comments if you have any other video ideas Let me know what you want to see of the black car, too Of course a lot more videos are coming online to be honest the range video i'm filming the second time now So yeah, all right. That's pretty much it for today. We'll see each other soon

 So right now on this trip at 29 kilometers and we're still We're going 35 I mean it's yeah, it's going downhill now Obviously, yeah 40 kilometers an hour. So yeah We're still at 40 kilometers an hour right now Which is kind of insane So we still have 20 left on the remote controller right now 25 Still looking good still going fast all good for now. We're definitely going to be down soon I mean we're at 33 kilometers I don't think we're gonna go much further. I'm gonna stop when i'm at like, oh man, that was a good one I will go to the skate park with this board

ONSRA CHALLENGER - Electric Skateboard Range Test

More like looong smooth curves traveling lets say 30km/h. So far I was looking at mostly AT boards because of the range. My top picks so far : Onsra Challenger belt version(Black Carve is pre-order for july but also viable option), Lycaon TRX 2.0, Exway Atlas 2WD, Eovan GTS Carbon Pro and WowGo AT2(with cloudwheels)

 This board is not a mini-board, it's definitely longer than the mini-board that you can find on the market. The concave of the edges will provide you a perfect control on the ride. The shape and design reminds me a lot the old school skateboard design that you could find in the early days of the skateboard. The finishing with this mat-graping gives definitely this board a premium look

 The short deck could pretend more to the wobbles at high speed but the stance is wide which allows to have a full stability even at high speed. Man, the acceleration is so great. Like, you just can't feel the power, you know. Like, this is really insane

 That's why the belt drive is definitely great because you can adjust the pulleys and choose the one that will fit the most your ride. And for the belt, if you change to 97mm wheels or even lower you will get even way more acceleration. This board can reach 50km per hour depending on the wheel that you use. With the 105mm cloud wheels and 45T pulley, I was able to go at 46km per hour but I was slower than Fabien and he was on the direct drive

 I was really surprised at high speed that you can have that much control and I never experienced speed wobbles even at high speed. This Challenger is like a real game changer with like really high speed, really high speed. The Challenger come with the 105 mm cloud wheels as standard. I used to ride the 120 mm cloud wheels but I gotta say the 105 mm still provides some comfort and thanks with their hardness they will be able to provide you a really really great range

ONSRA CHALLENGER - REVIEW AND FIRST IMPRESSIONS

As you may have gleamed from the title, I'm relatively new to electric skateboarding and am much more used to standard skateboards.  


The flared ends of a standard deck granting low speed maneuverability via lifting the front of the board and rotating on the rear wheels is sorely missed (by me, in any case)  


In your opinion(s), is there any decent way to emulate this on an electric board?   
Like by replacing the deck with a standard one (wheel bite issues, I imagine), or a foot strap on one end, etc. Just curious. Cheers.
