I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Girlfriend gave me my first EDC knife as a birthday present

 Not a lot of rust, I took some steel wool to it and that removed the rust, but it rusted too easily for me to feel comfortable neglecting the knife. I live in a dry place and but it had been raining before I noticed the rust, so maybe the moisture in the air played a role. I had also left the knife in my glove box for 3 days before it started rusting. I can not recommend this knife in D2 if you plan to leave the knife somewhere for a while

 But now for the bad things- first, the price that they are asking for is WAY TO HIGH- I could find this exact knife on other websites at a price way lower (40% lower than what I paid). The 2nd problem relates to the knife, a few weeks after I bought it I saw rust forming on the blade. I’d like something not too bulky but with a nice strong blade. Something I can carry with me on a daily basis. Preferably not a fixed blade, which isn’t really practical for my lifestyle. 

I’ve collected knives for a while, years, but to be honest the majority of my collection is crappy knives that I thought looked cool from flea markets.

Recommendation for a good carrying knife? $30-50 range

 This is very disappointing as this is my first knife with a D2 blade, so I do not have a sharpener for it yet. I reached out to the seller, and they said they all come like this and "just buy some kind of knife sharpener since soon or late you will have to sharpen it." That is the email response I received. Obviously I am buying a sharpener, but I would expect a knife to come presharpened especially from a reputable company

 It doesn't cut paper, i actually tried to cut myself and it was like a bakery knife. I only gave 2 stars due to me liking the form factor of the knife, but it's a paper weight until I learn to sharpen D2.

Good folding pocket knives for outdoors

 There's barely anything wrong with this knife, and any flaws you can find, I haven't found any yet, can be looked over for it's price. It's just a good, cheap(er) knife. If you're thinking about getting the Rat 2, that's enough reason to just buy it. It's good

 The fit and finish is great. Pretty much everything you've heard from all the knife reviewers is true. There's barely anything wrong with this knife, and any flaws you can find, I haven't found any yet, can be looked over for it's price. It's just a good, cheap(er) knife

Best Knife for someone "new" to knives?

Best Budget Knife Hands Down

If you like Spyderco check out their more affordable line called Byrd. I always recommend Civivi Elementum or an Ontario Rat 2 for budget blades. They both are staples in the EDC community.

Hey, I am currently looking for a new knife for me. I don't really need it but I just want to refresh my carry. I currently daily an Opinel but I kinda hate how it's difficult to open with one hand. Otherwise I love it. I have been eyeing some Spydercos because I like the style but they are a tad bit too expensive for me. So if you could recommend me some quality knifes that are easy to open one-handed that would be awesome.
