Optoma UHD60

I had some initial issues with my Optoma UHD60, which does 4K and HDR. I did a firmware update (had to ship the unit back to the manuf), and adjusted some of the settings to my liking and now it works perfectly. I use it for at least 10-20 hours per week and the colors are bright and clear, resolution is amazing and consistent.

A better comparison for the Epson would be the Optoma UHD60 (see links), which is also a 4k lamp projector, but a dated model like the Epson is. It's $1k less than the UHZ50 laser projector, but I think the UHZ50 is probably worth it (I'm about to upgrade from the UHD60 and have been researching Epson and Optoma).

However, I wouldn't upgrade from a UHD60 as it's not a significant upgrade. I would look into something better or wait till you got really bored with it.
