<p>Pedal - Strymon Volante Amp - Benson Monarch Reverb Guitar - Fender CS Telecaster</p>

<p>I love delay. I really like modulation too, so it was hard not to go with a CE-1 style pedal or something else. Also was very tempted to go with the Fjord Fuzz Bifrost because I LOVE that pedal. Ultimately, the Volante wins out because of the control and sound.</p>

<p>The Monarch is my favorite amp that I&#39;ve ever plugged into. I tried a couple of the big Two Rock amps as well, but they didn&#39;t move me the same. I love the &quot;dirty&quot; clean tone too. I could potentially be swayed by one of the Magnatone stereo amps, but I haven&#39;t gotten to try one yet.</p>

<p>For guitar, I love the Tele. Specifically my 58 heavy relic. Such a great sounding guitar and pairs really well with the amp. This was a tough decision though. Was very tempted to go with a Gretsch, but ultimately, I love this Tele too much to pass.</p>

 The worst thing about this amp has been mentioned before, the gain channel sounds terrible if you turn it up. It's pretty useless in my opinion.. It sounds better on the clean channel with a pedal or two

It's okay, don't expect too much.

 So we're going to crank up the gain and mess with the EQ some and you can really hear the versatility in this amp. Right that's with the EQ settings at 12 o'clock so let me twist a little bit here. Drop some mids, turn up some highs, turn up some bass. Perfectly voiced for the scoop mid kind of sound and we can do the exact opposite as well

 Bump the mids and get the nice mid point on it. That's perfect for making a lead tone really cut through a mix. So there's a quick look at the Orange Crush 35RT. Man Orange has really knocked it out of the park with this, this is a great sounding little amp

 I mean it sounds great just flipping back and forth with the same EQ settings which is like what I did in the intro. So the RT part of the Orange Crush 35RT stands for reverb and tuner. It is a digital reverb, it's a great sounding spring emulation and the tuner, right here check this out, right, works great. There's an auxiliary in eighth inch for plugging in like your iPod or MP3 player so you can play along with tracks and also there is a headphone output

I've got a small Park amp at the moment (40w) but it really doesn't have the clarity i want or the volume without cranking the gain and adding a bunch of distortion. I've got fuzz/overdrive pedals and the zoom ms 70 so I don't really need much in the way of bells and whistles, just a nice sounding amp. If anyone could recommend me any good value amps, or just let me know what you use that'd be great :)

[QUESTION] Recommendations for high quality amps on a budget

Lots of static.

 So as you can hear there's a really sort of convincing rock tone that we're getting there. Something that would be fantastic for home recordings, demos, even sort of low budget EPs if you're working on a budget. This would be the sort of perfect thing that you can nail that with. You can do all your practice, you can do some of your recording at home

 The only real difference being here that we've got an 8 inch speaker rather than a 10 inch speaker and it doesn't come with the effects loop. But it's still the RT model which means that we have the reverb and the tuner. So aside from the lack of the effects loop, everything is the same. We're getting the same level of tone, the same bands on the EQ, the same frequency response

I have a Yamaha THR10, love the size and battery-powered option but am not a fan of the software and find the sound somewhat uninspiring. I like that both amps are also audio interfaces. Would be cool to have find one that sounds great and has the connectivity.

[Discussion] what’s your favorite practice amp, and why?

 The problem is at lower gain. With light to medium distortion there's just no warmth or definition, it just has this kind of "flappy" sound, and boominess. It made my American Standard Strat and my Big Muff sound terrible--I was really disappointed and surprised, and returned it. Note that I also bought the Orange Crush 50W bass amp around the same time, and I'm happy with that one, both clean and dirty channels

The features, price and packaging of this amp are attractive. I've been using a VOX modeling amp and had issues with noise: both artifacts from the digital modeling at higher gain, and plain old AC line noise. I decided to give this analog Orange a change. The clean channel is nice--completely noiseless and pleasant tone

 It made my American Standard Strat and my Big Muff sound terrible--I was really disappointed and surprised, and returned it. Note that I also bought the Orange Crush 50W bass amp around the same time, and I'm happy with that one, both clean and dirty channels. I will not buy and amp online again-- try before you buy!

While I’m learning, I’ve found myself playing along to a lot of blues backing tracks and really enjoy that. Eventually, I want to be able to play more rock and hard rock. I don’t know if I’ll ever get to the point where I can play their songs, but Some of my favorites are Aerosmith, Metallica, Alter Bridge, Sevendust, AC/DC, Black Label Society, Foo Fighters, and other similar bands.

I only play at home, so I don’t need anything that gets super loud. I’ve never had the 20RT more than half-way up.

I also don’t need a lot of effects in it. I had a Line6 Spider before, and there were too many options. Something with two channels that I can put my handful of pedals (OD, distortion, chorus, and delay) through is perfect.

Since I do play through headphones at times, I like having an Aux In port.

I would say my budget is around the $250 mark, plus or minus a little.
