 I’m fairly lean (6’ 0” and 175 pounds with an above average chest size), had the sternum straps cinched 100%, and this was still too large around the shoulder/neck area (and I ordered the smallest size). I didn’t have the pockets stuffed with gear and maybe that would have helped, but I don’t want to always have to carry unnecessary gear just to make it fit. I love all of the pockets and amount of storage of the vest, but it bounces too much to be usable, unfortunately.

  Updated review (3 stars): After one more run, this vest just doesn’t fit well. If I wore layers (winter), it was ok, but as the day warmed up and I only had one layer on, it was too big.   I have only ran in this new pack on one short run, but it’s almost as comfortable as I expected it would be. It seems a little loose around the top/back side of shoulders, but I assume once I fill the hydration bladder full and add gear in some of the pockets, the fit will get better. Even though the fit wasn’t as snug as I was used to in the 1.5, the pack did not noticeably bounce and I found it more comfortable than other brands I have worn

5 pack.  The one downfall of this (and really it’s a minor inconvenience) is the straps with clips on the back side. They extend over the pockets and you have to loosen/un-clip them in order to unzip and access your rear pockets. This isn’t a deal breaker, but hopefully Osprey can figure out a better system for next years model

Great features, but runs large.

 Unlike a lot of other running packs, the Douro has sternum straps that can be connected and disconnected on the right or the left side. It might seem like a small thing, but it's a smart design that makes adjustments convenient for right or left-handed runners.  The wide open mesh harness offers next to skin comfort and fits close to the body. So you have a free range of movement. It'S available in small /, medium and medium /, large sizes, to accommodate runners of varying sizes. You can also really dial in the fit with the dual sternum straps and side stabilizer straps

Osprey Duro 1.5 Hydration Running Vestpack

Perfect for run commute with a lunch and change of clothes. But could not stand the sternum clips system. It uses a rail system which made it hard to close the strap quickly ans easily. If only this bag would use traditional clips it would win this hybrid running vest / hiking bag segment which the market is not addressing well

 fits there, that's there. Oh yeah, it's pretty tight in there too. Yep, and it fits in that pocket too. And obviously this phone will fit in this pocket as well in this one, cuz there's about the same size

 Since this, PEC is considered a running pack even though I have never used it for running, mostly for hiking and cycling, There are a lot of justement points obviously heavy here. it has this and then you have these ones these chest straps that are easily movable and you can take them off and then this chest strap up here is easily taken off as well and it has a little magnet that has that can hold the included 2.5 liter water bladder. now

 I Just stretch it out, put it right there and it's easily accessible. so if I ever needed it, I Can easily get it out. And for you ultra runners, there is a little whistle that comes with it attached on the right shoulder pocket. Now for the main storage compartment

Wish it was more breathable

 that's great. Love that A couple pockets on each side of the vest straps the shoulder straps here. great for GU I've got like my bars there's a really nice zipper pocket here. This is where I've been keeping my phone running Strava taking quick picks the hip belt

 note one it, then we open up. There's this main pouch now I'm carrying more than a typical trail runner. so I've got my technical hoody which I'm going to throw on here in a second cuz it's very windy here underneath the grand and the enclosure there. Got my extra water bottle

 You know, training and knowledge and the mountains, but you know every once in a while there's a good piece of gear that just kind of helps you get to the end of the road, the end of the journey and helps you you know achieve your goals. And today for me that was definitely this best pack. So thank you! Oscar A You guys are awesome! Time to eat some food and get down and off of this peak.

Great idea, but I had to either return mine or give it away. I opted to give it away to someone I knew that needed one. The reason I had to get rid of it was that the sizes are just too darn small for my frame. Even with the straps fully extended
