Osprey Mira 22 Women's Hydration Pack

  Really folks, can you make things a bit more adjustable.  I mean this pack has a rain cover, and lot of space for a 22 L bag and nice features. Just not fitting us women that are a bit fully around the middle.

 In order to really access anything in it, you need to take everything out which gets annoying pretty quickly. While the vented back is nice, it makes for a stiff construction that isn't always pleasurable to deal with when storing it. As I've come to expect with the Osprey line, it's well made it's just the side pocket that ruins it for me.

Main side pocket isn't functional for me

 Compared to my other two packs, this one's straps are extremely rough and uncomfortable, as well. I think maybe it's just not a fit for me, I'll be returning this one.

 The torso is too short, even with the straps adjusted to their highest point -- for a comfortable fit of the straps on my shoulders the hip belt sits in the middle of my waist! I agree with another reviewer that the magnetic chest strap/combination hydration magnet is not good in practice either. The magnetic enclosure is very awkward to use compared to a standard clasp. Compared to my other two packs, this one's straps are extremely rough and uncomfortable, as well. I think maybe it's just not a fit for me, I'll be returning this one

Good pack, didn't work for me though

- the side pockets where one might store an extra water bottle are designed with a huge gaping hole on each pocket toward the bottom. I could see a smaller water bottle slipping out. This would have been a nice pocket to just toss something in like a power bar wrapper without having to remove the backpack, but it would just fall right out!

 There are just enough pockets too. But I can see where they are cutting costs. They may seem like minor details but they are what is holding this bag from being perfect. The hip belt pockets are small

 The chest strap is hard to put on and take off because of the design. I wish they just kept the standard buckle. Also the magnet for the hydration bladder is very weak. I have to look down make sure the magnets are aligned just to attach the bladder to chest strap which is very annoying so I don't even bother with the magnet

 They may seem like minor details but they are what is holding this bag from being perfect. The hip belt pockets are small. I don't know why they are not extended to be larger to go further more toward the front. The hip straps and buckle are thinner than the Sirrus/Stratos 24 which makes it less comfortable on hips

 - The hip pockets are difficult/impossible for me to close with only one hand when the pack is on. I have to pinch one side to zip it, even if the pocket is mostly empty. I have wide waist/hips though, so it may be that they are further back for me than others.
