Liner not waterproof in extended use

Really like the over gloves, warmth seemed just ok, not sure about the water proofing, expensive. I got the men's as the women's was not available yet in the updated/new version. It was a little wide so I had to return, need to wait for women's to be available.

 This happened once before. Here is where I think the problem is. The length of the glove liner/shell is too short. While I don't think the glove needs to be up to the elbow, midway between the elbow and wrist would be ideal

 The grip pads are only present on the palm pad and the new materials used make gripping anything with your fingers a real challenge. Had I not returned my originals due to a torn seam, I would return these and likely try a new brand. O.R

Not as good as the original. While I appreciate the exterior cover being included, the gloves alone a not nearly as wind or water resistant as the originals. Additionally, the 'touch' feature does not work well (< 5%) and the seam sewn into the index finger and thumb are too intrusive to be comfortable for extended wear. Far Worse Than Original Versaliner

 Other than that, they are of typical OR quality, fit as they should, and should serve the purpose of light duty use in mild wet weather conditions. Any prolonged exposer to rain will wet them out.
