I ordered this to replace one I destroyed by accidentally dropping a can of pumpkin on it. My broom hangs in the kitchen, so I wanted the dust pan to clip on to the handle, keeping it off the floor and avoiding its predecessor's fate.  The rubber lip of this dust pan is firmly attached, of good quality, and reasonably good at making a seal against the floor. The pan itself is of heavy plastic with a rubbery feel to it

 It is what I would call a large dust pan, with a very deep butt end. It clips tightly to my generic broom handle and doesn't seem like it's going to loosen or crack over time. There's a pleasant snap into place, but no feeling of straining or creaking plastic.

Sturdy, Big, Clips Tight

This sticks to my broom fine and does a great job of picking up dust since the rubber edge sits on the floor nicely instead of bowing like the plastic-edged ones do. That being said, I've had this for about a year and the rubber edge has dried up a bit and it curls up a tiny bit on the edge, just enough to make it hard to get dust into the pan. I am buying my second one now and I expect to just have to replace it every year. For that first year, though, it's the best dust pan I've found!

 The all-plastic composition shouldn't put you off, either. It's highly stiff, has a glazed finish that will allow easy wash up with soap and water, and has a great working rubberized clip built into the handle that allows you to affix the pan to most any standard sized broom handle. It's one of the best household dustpans I've ever used. Five stars
