The finish on this Size of Pan is Coarse

I have only had this for a short time. It does not stick and is easy to clean but after a very few uses, the coating on the outside of the pan is peeling off like paint.

As a Mom-on-the-go, I am always seeking short cuts in the Kitchen.  This 12" Ozeri Stone Earth Pan definitely fits that bill.  With the non-stick coating, foods really doesn't stick to this pan.  I've fried eggs, browned beef, and made chicken in this pan and clean-up was extremely easy

  -I was DEFINITELY impressed with ease of cleanup.  -I even purposely left some food IN the pan, until the next evening, to see how easy or difficult this would be to clean it up and it was just easy to clean up the next evening.   SCORE!

  With the non-stick coating, foods really doesn't stick to this pan.  I've fried eggs, browned beef, and made chicken in this pan and clean-up was extremely easy.  I poured my grease, from the browned beef, into a mug so it can solidify and rinsed out the interior pan with hot water and soap.  I ran a wash cloth over it, and within seconds it was completely dry

Legitimately NON-Stick

 It is so nice not to have to clean cast iron or stainless but not when pieces of the coating are coming off in our food!

 I contacted the company and got a replacement and the same thing happened. We use our pans a lot. We cook 3 times a day and rarely eat out. I’m used to stainless and cast iron so these felt like a fairly non toxic dream but it grossed me out to see those pieces start going missing from the center like little divots

 I thought maybe I wasn’t careful enough with the first couple and then this last one I was super careful and it still happened. Maybe these are fine if you don’t use them often. It is so nice not to have to clean cast iron or stainless but not when pieces of the coating are coming off in our food!

It's good but sides are too vertical for this size pan

I have 2 of these skillets, an 8 inch which I just purchased, and a 10 inch which I have used for years. Great for fried potatoes and other things too. The coating on the 8 inch skillet is much rougher than the older 10 inch I have. Not sure why that is but it works well and cleans up nicely

Durable however product has changed

I was wanting to replace the one I already had and liked very much, but this replacement has a chemical odor to it. After washing and even cooking in it, the chemical smell is still there, sorry to say. What does that do to the food besides breathing it? If the problem could be remedied, it would be a great pan.

 Absolutely no chemicals in  stone non stick surface. Food slides right out, uses 1/4 tsp of oil to coat before cooking, sauteing or frying. Truly non stick. Wipes clean with a sponge and soapy water
