 But enough about that let's go ahead and talk about this. So as we know Invictus has been around for a while and there were a ton of flankers that kind of come along with this one. Most popular is 2016 Invictus Aqua but if you do not have that one in your collection I'm not sure if it's worth the extra upcharge but 2018 Invictus Aqua could work just the same. So we're going to talk about this one I've talked about it on the channel before but I haven't gone into an official review so we won't spend a ton of time on it

 And this fragrance was also said to have like this bubble gum feel that some people enjoyed some people did not enjoy but nonetheless it was touted to be a juvenile scent. That is a more authentic grapefruit within that scent this one here not so much and personally I enjoy in this scent a lot more than in that Doshien Gabana. As you transition from the top here there is that lavender and woody feel here that's that oakmoss within this scent and then as you get into the base here you get that mint as I mentioned it and also some patchouli overall. Now in smelling this scent I would say that it's a good scent for sure but personally I find that when I sprayed this fragrance on skin initially I wasn't a big fan in fact I feel that this fragrance does smell better in the air than it does close on skin and that doesn't matter a ton unless you are planning for that close encounter action

 Now in this fragrance here this one was this woody aquatic fragrance that was fresh and sensual and you had some notes that you would come to expect within that type of fragrance but this was done with a sweet twist. In addition to that sweet twist you had grapefruit, marina cords, gayak wood etc. And this fragrance was also said to have like this bubble gum feel that some people enjoyed some people did not enjoy but nonetheless it was touted to be a juvenile scent. Paco Rabanne Invictus Platinum Fragrance Review - Men's Fragrance Release 2022

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is another scent that I enjoy, but it is not my go to.  I like the strength of it and how long it lasts, but to me this is more of a special occasion scent. Whenever I have an event that I have to throw a suit on for I always consider this scent, even if I don’t pick it every time

 I think that's a great scent. This one, I don't know, I don't want to say it's going to be for the mature guy, but when you stack this one here up against the rest of the line so far, it has some different nuances here that would maybe lend it to be a more mature take somewhat on the scent here. We'll take a look at the note breakdown real quick. We have absinthe and grapefruit up top, mint, lavender in the mid, cypress, patchouli in the base

 As it sits, I don't mind it. I don't think it's terrible. Now in terms of comparing it to new releases this year so far, it would be really hard for this to compete. To be fair, I think it would be hard for a lot of fragrances to compete with stuff like Aqua Dejo Eau de Parfum, Gentleman Reserve Privé, and even right now for me, Polo Blue Parfum

NEW Paco Rabanne Invictus Platinum First Impressions - The NEW Compliment Getter!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My review for Paco Rabanne-Invictus Platinum Eau de Parfum. I use this product for a month and I enjoyed it. It is a heavier scent that I am used to but not so heavy that it lingers on you all day and and so strong that it makes people want to get away from you

Smells Great

 Now, admittedly, the very next time I sprayed it on my skin, I didn't get near as much of that. So it's one of those things where I kind of had to acquire the taste, if you will. For the top note, I think the way the absinthe, the grapefruit, and some of the green notes just, it comes off quite bitter on my skin. But as time has progressed with more sprays and everything and adjusting to the scent profile, it does come across as a lightly bitter, more tart grapefruit with a little hit of the absinthe to kind of get, that really gives it that bitterness

 It was an aroma I had never really encountered from a fragrance, especially one that's based in a line that's known to be sweet aquatics. It's a sweet aquatic DNA, which you do get a little bit of in here. Like I said, it does tie to the line. I do smell that sweet aquatic invictus vibe more so in the heart of the fragrance, not in that top note

 What's going on guys? So in this video, we're talking about one that I was very excited to get when it first got announced. I had very high hopes for and admittedly, it's not exactly what I expected it to be. My first impressions on this fragrance kind of threw me for a loop. I was a little underwhelmed, but after spending some time with it, some full wearings, some test sprays and kind of giving it a full chance, I've actually changed my thoughts quite a bit and I'm ready to discuss with you exactly what I think

 For the top note, I think the way the absinthe, the grapefruit, and some of the green notes just, it comes off quite bitter on my skin. Paco Rabanne Invictus Platinum (2022) Fragrance Review

  It is nice and light and lasts all day.  I prefer a scent that isn't extremely overwhelming well still having enough staying power to keep you smelling pleasant throughout the work day at the office.  This one hits the mark.

 You got the front of the box, you have the name of the fragrance, name of the house, the size, the concentration. This is an Oda Parfum 100 mil size bottle. Little Paco Rabanne logo up on top of the box. On the back, you have a QR code scan to discover the universe

 So it's just my initial impressions. As it dries down, it does become more of a woody green fragrance. Again, kind of an ambroxany modern woodsy green. So you still retain a good amount of freshness into the dry down

NEW Paco Rabanne Invictus Platinum FIRST IMPRESSIONS - An Invictus I Like?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smells great and the wife loves the smell even though she really doesn't enjoy much cologne on me at all. You only need to use a dab of it, as it's quite potent and spreads well. Overall lasts a decent amount of time and no complaints

 I don't think there's enough of that herbal aromatic thing in the opening that it's going to be a put off to any people. But I think that with it having that ample amount of sweetness in the base, I think people are still going to really enjoy it. And they're going to find it quite functional in the sense that you can still wear it comfortably in a variety of different scenarios. However, of all of the Invictus fragrances that were released, I think this is probably the most unique one

 So to start things off, this fragrance is quite spicy in the opening. Now, when I initially took a look at the note breakdown, I was kind of under the impression that mint would be one of the stronger notes in here. And I'm not getting a whole lot of mint necessarily, just because it doesn't have that bright sort of nasal cavity opening effect that a lot of peppermint, spearmint and even eucalyptus base fragrances tend to have. No, on the other hand, this fragrance actually starts off a little spicy, a little herbal, all the while having the sweetness that is present in the base

 And I do think it leans a little bit unisex, especially because of the woods, the green elements and the spices. And in terms of the presentation, I suppose Platinum is a cool name. I'm not entirely sure. I think that there is a certain aesthetic to it with the coloration on the bottle here

 I have a good understanding and feeling for it now. So I'm excited to give you my thoughts on it very soon. So make sure to stay tuned now before I begin today's review and I tell you all about the brand new Paco Rabanne fragrance. This one is called Invictus Platinum
