A Grossly Inferior Product

Cheap and easy to use. A cooker from the past.

This rice cooker is too small. I use three or three and a half cups of rice and it barely fits this amount when cooked. Sometimes, I have to cook the rice a second time because it remains somewhat uncooked with one cycle. I do not like that it does not make a difference for white and brown rice or for difference sizes of rice which may be the reason why sometimes my rice is uncooked

For being a national brand cooker, I expected much more.

Good but Messy.

 I can cook on the stove, perfectly, in 20 minutes. To soak for 30 minutes and then wait another 20 or so for the cooker, causes dinner to take more than twice as long. The device is only on or off, no other adjustments. If a max cooking time could be set, then it could be tweaked to turn off before the rice scorched

The first time Panasonic product has disappointed me.

 I like that’s it’s a simple unit. The pot is non stick but a much lighter weight that the ‘79 model. I don’t feel that most kitchen appliances are made to last for 3 plus decades, too many new upgrades get developed. I just hope this rice cooker lasts at least a decade and cooks white and brown rice properly
