It's plenty deep. I thought it would be a little longer but it's OK. Nice slots and a zippered pocket. I added a thin, protective sleeve for my computer.

This backpack is perfect for commuting around the city and fits under seats on planes. The stretchy side pockets perfectly hold my 32oz Hydroflask and my umbrella. The cord on the outside secures my running shoes, yoga mat, or sweater. Plenty of pockets for everything else.
