For me it’s the R1 hoody. Feels great, breathes great, and IMO looks great. It is, I think, the most versatile piece I own, I wear it when hiking, climbing, camping, running etc, but I also take it when grabbing a beer in the city, watching TV, or just any other regular, everyday stuff.

I use it while hiking, skiing, and around town as a better alternative to a standard cotton hoody. Slim fit, and not bulky so it fits under a puffy/Houdini/etc. extremely well. R1 Techface: same as R1, but a more wind resistant/durable face material so it holds up better to abrasion while climbing.

It's definitely more wind and water resistant than most of the fleeces out there and the material looks durable and resistant to abrasions. Doesn't feel really soft like a fleece, more a half way between a fleece and a technical jacket.

Sell your Cerium LT and Nanopuff and pick up an R1 hoody and a Proton FL. Cerium is too similar to your down sweater (which is a bit warmer and more durable, IMO), and the Nanopuff is too similar to your Atom LT. Seems like you’re missing some good fleece/active insulation in your quiver, so the R1 and Proton FL should we welcomed additions. Definitely an important staple if you’re looking to get into mountaineering.
