Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711

I was at my dealer the other day and he told me he had a special watch he was saving for me. He pulled out this gorgeous Iced Patek Philippe Nautilus! I couldn’t believe my eyes! The way the curved crystal played with the light!

Well she got it for me!. This watch is amazing, finished to the highest degree, outstanding movement with a 22 karat gold rotor hand done in four different finishes and that blue dial…. It’s a lacquered blue dial with a slight sunburst finish, alternating from dark navy to baby blue depending on the lighting. I’ve always wanted a high end sports watch from one of the holy trinity brands.

Happy Sunday, everyone! I was asking TS Anna about a couple different watches, and it turns out she carries the Patek Philippe Nautilus from PPF factory (supposedly has the best Patek reps according to reptime).

I had hesitated for a long time between the 5712 and the 5711 but I thought that I'd rather get some complications and enjoy the micro rotor. I've been wearing it quite a lot since, the size fits perfectly my small wrist and the bracelet is an absolute pleasure on the wrist thanks to its satin finishing inside.

All are great but the blue takes the ribbon. At first I felt the watch was a touch big at 40mm but since my next grail is a 37 mm steel Royal oak with a blue face, and I would never buy a 39 or 41 mm Royal oak for my wrist, this watch fills a nice secondary role and is a nice “beater” option to wear for a night out in the city without breaking a sweat.

**Patek 5711/next iteration of nautilus** - I know this is a very trendy watch but I am interested in an integrated bracelet ss sports watch and at this point my heart is with patek. The Royal Oak is also a beautiful watch but the way the bracelet falls on the nautilus fits my wrist better.

The watch had spent 8 years without service and lubricants had dried up causing the movement to stop completely. It's recommended that these watches are normally serviced every 5 years.
