I know you can’t get rid of pores but I’m wondering is there anyway to make them smaller? I use La Roche Posay products. They keep my acne mostly at bay but I feel like my pores are just so large. Part of it is genetic, but just wondering if there’s anything else I can do at home to help. Thanks!

Couldn't find a strong enough AB active that I liked, so I went with Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA liquid and The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution due to arrive tomorrow! So excited.

[Fluff] After about a year of neglect and depression, I finally got back into AB! Shelfie with my favorite products.

- Some kind of vit C product for brightening my skin. - Direct acid/liquid exfoliator - specifically Paula's Choice BHA. - Retinol (eep! no idea where to start with that).

This being my first time trying this exfoliant I can say that its does work i do see minimizing pores ,it worked more for my black heads than white heads. The smell was tolerable but dont get it in your mouth.

Has anyone on here tried [Retinol Fast-Release Wrinkle Reducing Night Serum](https://www.sephora.com/product/retinol-fast-release-wrinkle-reducing-night-serum-P501029?skuId=2599165&amp;icid2=products%20grid:p501029:product) by Kiehl's? It is pricey so wondering if anyone has experience with it helping.

I have tried pure Retin-A 0.25% gel and my skin would not stop peeling. Tried for about 6-7 months with absolutely no change aside from the peeling, gross flakey skin I had around my mouth and chin.  Tried using it every other night, tried twice a week, with multiple moisturizers (including vaseline) and oils to stop the peeling. I think I ruined my skin barrier because even having moisturizer would sometimes make it sting. 

Maybe it was because it was a gel version (that smelled like rubbing alcohol)? Should I have requested a prescription for the cream version instead?

Yes, I used sunscreen (Elta MD). 

When I was younger I used retinol by La Roche which seemed to make my skin look pretty nice but it could have also just been my age and the fact that I was probably living a healthier lifestyle than I am now. :)
