Pilot S30

* Eraser of S30 does not have a clean out rod (cleaning pin) attached. * Cap of S30 is somewhat improved, now metal and wood rather than mainly plastic but metal is shiny and it does not have a lead grade indicator. In conclusion, while I think S30 is amazing (as fusion of my two favorite mechanical pencils: Pilot Automac and S20), a matte finished version would look more premium so there is still room for improvement :).

i think it is one of the best suited pencils for long writing sessions. if you prefer something heavier, pilot s20 is a comfortable pencil and it is about the same weight with staedtler 925-35. but be careful, its tip is fragile. pilot s30 has the same body with s20.

* Pilot S30 ( all four colors) 0.5mm. These have been nice and comfortable to use.

But frankly, I find the design rather ugly. Why couldn't they have made it look more like the sleek QX 05 and included a cap?. But then there's the Pilot S30, which you mentioned--and I disagree.
