Pioneer AVH-3500NEX Single DIN 7" Motorized Stereo - RMS Power Testing

Well, this is mixed review. First, I love that this option exists! A single-DIN motorized screen CarPlay unit is the perfect format for my application. Thanks Pioneer for making it! I pretty much use CarPlay 100% of the time so I can't really comment on the native Pioneer interface.  Second, I didn't change any other components in my system, but the sound quality improved a bit anyway - I think the sound quality is there with this unit

  Finally, the screen simply is not that good. I'm sure most of the "credit" for the poor image quality is the choice of resistive screen technology, rather than the capacitive screen technology used as standard in smartphones. Every smartphone you've seen looks way better than this. This screen is a relatively low resolution display, but this is not the big deal

Motorized single-DIN format is perfect!  Screen is not great though.

Sound quality is much better than the stock radio. Bluetooth was not a hassle to set up. I still haven't figured out how to set up wireless Apple CarPlay and I will update this review accordingly. Having a wire for USB in the BACK of the unit is stupid

Time to update the 1999 H1. I am tired of out-of-date Nav with the old unit and this one has CarPlay and Android Auto - It was hard to find a single-bay unit and am grateful that I could get this one ..

I just finished installing this in my car today. So far, I don't have any complaints. It wasn't that hard for me to do the install cause I have a "little" knowledge in installs. The sound quality is good, has built in EQ which has like 5 fixed preset settings and 2 custom setting you can save yourself
