 but the stand that comes with the monitor on its own is more than adequate if you don't want to use something like that. And I Always recommend if at all possible to use a monitor arm for the best possible experience and desk setup. So what? I recommend you consider this monitor? Well, yes, if you were considering the Px 277, this monitor should definitely be on your list of considerations if you're going to be doing stuff like content creation or things that require a color accurate experience. I would lean much more towards the Px 277 with the VA panel, but if you're just a gamer who once again into gaming and once a minor that looks good for video games and isn't going to have, oh, let's say just a higher price point just for the reason of having a more color accurate experience

 You can kind of tell from all the boxes right there, but today we have another interesting monitor that we're going to be checking out. We're gonna be checking out the little brother of the Pixi Opx 277, a monitor that I reviewed which is a 1440p 144 Hertz display which I pretty much proclaimed is one of the best value gaming monitors on the market at its price point, but the little brother comes in at a very special $300 price tag almost a $100 difference compared to its bigger brother. There are a couple compromises that hadn't been made to this monitor to make it at this price plane, but is it still worth your consideration? Well, let's talk about that Now for those who were considering the PX 277 and really weren't 100% sure whether or not they should pull the trigger or not, the PX 276 might give you a little bit of a better value for your dollar. Pixee o PX 276 is a 144 hertz one millisecond response time monitor with adaptive sync with the frequency range of 30 hertz all the way up to 144 Hertz

 If you're a professional Csgo player or any other FPS or MOBA type player that requires very fast reflex time mainly FPS shooters, this monitor will be great for you with its one millisecond response time compared to its bigger brother. With a 5 millisecond response time, the average person won't notice the difference. But for a professional gamer who's trying to nail a headshot within milliseconds of the other opponent, this monitor does a great job at doing that and also at a very affordable price. The colors on this monitor are great for gaming just playing in certain titles like Csgo and Rocket

$300 1440p 144hz Monitor - Pixio PX276 Review

  Second - the stand. I’m honestly at a loss on who designed such an awful stand. It actually points DOWNWARDS about 10 degrees with the factory stand installed. I had to buy a generic VESA monitor stand just to have this monitor sit upright without pointing down at my chair

 I’ve found turning the monitor off and walking away for about 10 minutes lets it cool off enough to do 144 FPS again. I am going to try putting some USB-powered fans on the vent holes to increase airflow and see if that helps.  Second - the stand. I’m honestly at a loss on who designed such an awful stand

Great Monitor - Two Big Drawbacks

 2560 by 1440 s Big enough that you can have two windows side-by-side browsing the internet, doing productivity stuff, doing programming, whatever it is that you might be doing. and I Really think that 2560 by 1440 is a good, you know, sort of balanced resolution. The pixel density at, you know, 27-inch screen size also means that you can run the display without display scaling. So I think that's a nice touch

 Some kind of standards I Don't know I have standards TN panels? No TN TN know [Music] Well, the short version is that I'm actually pretty impressed with this panel considering that it is TN I Think if it were my personal choice, I would still choose the Px 277 which is the IPS higher quality version of this panel. But to get it out of the way, let's talk about the specs of this panel. It's 2560 by 1440, so it's a higher resolution. the 1920 by 1080

 Just beware that the VESA mount is not at the center of the monitor, it's towards the bottom. so you may you know you might be off kilter a little bit if you're mixing different brands of monitor or whatever. but I think that it's a it's a good move. It was a good move to move the electronics to the bottom because it makes for a nice display aesthetic

 P There's nothing wrong with a 1080p monitor.  And is under review I was told “it may take 1-2 after receiving the RMA” it’s been a full Friday to Friday. Haven’t received anything either they need to be more careful with what they tell customers 1-2 is a bad guess when I’m going on day 8. I have one extra star because they are very kinda and have answered all questions. Come Monday if I haven’t recieved an email, I will either contact them or ask amazon if something can be done on their end to either speed this proscess up or get the works in for a refund because 2 day shipping turning in to a 15 mess on broken product that has been paid for isn’t working for me

 Will change stars on how customer service goes from here.  Add: it’s been two weeks from contacting pixio CS and they got the monitor shipped back to them.  Another star is taken off because I sent in an RMA and it seems that they are dragging their feet on it. However, this could just be a communication error, so its tentative and may be updated if I hear a response.

Brilliant quality, but may have some frustrating defects with DisplayPort.

 That was a Samsung BWX2343 1080p TN screen. The Pixio exhibits very poor viewing angles. I really notice this on white webpages and can see the white color distort on the edges. Ive never noticed that with my older TN monitor
