I seem to be going through Ozark trail lunch bags every 6 months to a year. I need some thing that will last longer than that. Soft lunch box less than $50 preferred, but wouldn't mind spending more if needed.

I had high hopes, but after one picnic use of the backpack I'm a bit disappointed. The construction and material is great and it keeps contents cool.  My gripe is with the size/shape. In my opinion the backpack is not wide enough to allow for proper storage of anything other than drinks and ice (packs)

Plastic containers, sandwiches, snacks, food: you're likely going to have a challenge packing and unloading these items while competing for space with any drinks or ice in the cooler. Plus it's so narrow, there's little chance of loading containers that 'cannot be on their side'

One-Trick-Pony Backpack

Quality not what it is cracked up to be!!

 I filled it with cold beverages and put a 7-10 lbs bag of ice in it at 4 am. The ice was completely gone by the time I got back onto the bus. Not the worst but the ambient temperature outside was never more than 72 and the bus wasn't hot either. 2

I purchased this cooler for two main reasons. 1.) I wanted something that would go with me on my annual golf trip. This is important because I wanted to put ice into it and leave it on the bus

I’ve had my first one for over 2 years, the most awesome, rugged, leak proof backpack cooler EVER! My fishing cooler, load it with bottles, cans and fish that have spiny fins and have not had a leak yet! Stitching is top notch as I load it with 15-25lbs of drinks, ice, bait and fish! Don’t waste your money on any other cooler!

Poor pattern, or cut, and stitching by the zipper make opening and closing a chore. Narrow inside makes packing a chore. We love our other Polar Bear coolers. Not so much this one which was a day beyond the return date when we got back from a trip
