Beautiful Mat But Collects Dirt and Not Thick

 There is just no grip. I thought it will get better with sweaty palms but no luck with that too. It stings after a few uses but there is no easy way to wash it. I have used it for 4 months now so its not my first impression that im sharing

Got it coz i love Cassey but very underwhelming

I live in an apartment with carpet and the bottom rubber grips don’t do anything so I have to resort to flipping the mat on with the vegan suede facing down to grip the carpet. The grip side dents and dirties easily. I usually do hiit and move around quite often, so this mat isn’t worth it.

Like other reviewers of this yoga mat and others, the smell is very powerful when you first receive it. I bought my last mat years ago at a retail store where it probably sat in a storeroom and on the floor for days or more so that it didnt smell by the time I bought it, but this was so toxic I got a headache and started coughing. Since I live in an apartment I couldnt put it outside, so I ended up putting it in a spare room, closing the door, opening the window and putting on the ceiling fan for about 12 hours and that helped a lot-maybe 90%. I then put it in the bath tub and doused it with liquid dish detergent and scrubbed it
