Popov Leather "The Traditional" Wallet Review...Just in Time ...

My Popov Leather wallet and watch band. Both still smell amazing.

I was interested in this handmade wallet, especially since it's made in USA. It was not so much that I was disappointed as the quality looked good but I thought it was priced too high for what you get. There are so many choices out there but at the selling price I don't think it's worth 4 times more than some of the imports.

 I personally didn't have any kind of EDC that was handcrafted before so having something in my kit now that is, handcrafted really makes me respect and appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into authentic leather goods. The v card comes in four different colors black driftwood english tan and the color that I have heritage Brown. Each color has three different color options for stitching available. These colors go from black to cream to Navy to even red which, as you've probably noticed by now, is the colour since you're gon na have in my heritage brown wallet, not every wallet color has the same stitching colors available to it

 If I didn't have to go over here and get it and then like restage it and everything, I would stop and smell it right now, but that's too much work, I'm not going to do that, but there is no doubting that this wallet is 100 %, genuine. Completely, the wallet is cut out by hand, and all stitching is also done by hand.  This extra leather is what allows the wallet to adjust to different amounts of cards cash or anything else, really that you may need to put into the wallet. I carried a small notebook for a while one of the 98 cent three packs from Walmart and found that the five card folds around the notebook perfectly. Of course it thickens it up, which is why I stopped carrying the notebook in a pocket entirely. But it allowed me to keep the notebook in the wallet in one package, so I do appreciate the design as it is

 The machine stitching also looks very secure. Pockets are roomy, not too tight, and one design aspect that I REALLY appreciate is having the card slots face inwards. This way, if the card slots do ever get loose, they won't fall out the top. Each pocket will stretch to fit multiple cards

 As a bonus, the leather is made in the USA, and the wallet is put together by hand in Canada, backed by a lifetime guarantee (if you'll ever need it). An excellent gift idea (or for yourself), for anyone who would appreciate a simple yet beautifully handcrafted wallet!

 Leather is thick and supple, and has a fantastic pattern/color. My other Popov products patina (ie. turn a darker color and take on the character of scratches) quickly, and they actually look even better with that aged character. The leather does not crack

 One of the traditional six card wallets and you can see they've got you know, pictures of it on the inside here and without anything in the pockets. If you go down here to the features - and you look you're gon na see that it's made from USA, Wien, chrome exel, I think that's how you say that chrome XL full grain leather, and that is when I looked it up on Google. I was like. I wondered about it

 The other thing I want to mention guys is this: fits in your back pocket perfectly. If you have any kind of jeans, whatever it'll fit your bat back or front pockets very, very nicely very easily, and another thing that I really like about the wallet is that when you've got it sitting there on a desk fully loaded with cards and cash and Stuff there is no, it's not like holding itself open, it's not like popping open or anything like that. It is literally just it stays closed. It stays flat

 Not only is the leather amazing and the craftsmanship amazing, but the fit is amazing to hold 12 cards that gives you plenty of space for your debit cards. If you have credit cards, you know an insurance card, I mean whatever you've got in there driver's license anything like that holds in here perfectly. It holds it tight. You don't ever worry about anything falling out and the leather itself

 You walked into a leather store and you're like right in the middle of it. It is just such a good, like good leather wallet you can tell, and you and I put this on my nightstand whenever I'm asleep and and literally when I go to sleep, even though it's like way over on my nightstand, I can still sometimes get a whiff Of that leather - and I don't know, there's just something about like genuine leather that smells so good so guys. I want to give a huge shout out to Popoff leather if you guys are interested in any kind of leather products, whether it be wallets or you know, coin coin, like change holders or even like they've got pin holders they've all got all kinds of stuff on Their website, I mean leather belts.  I've been looking for something a bit more classy in brown and this 5 pocket has been excellent so far. I have about 8 cards in it along with a couple cash bills and although its slightly thicker than a super minimalist wallet it allows much more expedient access to all my cards.

 This is driftwood. The traditional is the model with the cream stitching in it, and it has aged really well. I haven't had anything bust out on it. They do have, i believe you might want to double check this

 You scratch it. It does kind of fill in and just naturally tan itself over time. If you look at the original video, i had like a crease that was going across it and that has basically since disappeared, and you can just see the the quality like it'll it'll stretch out. If you put your finger in there, you can actually see how it kind of takes the imprint and it does mold back to normal, so it does basically fit it's very comfortable in the pocket when you're using it now price wise um

 The wallet is sewn together by hand with something called Tiger Thread which, as far as legality goes means, it’s, probably not made out of actual tigers, but it’s still thick and almost waxy. Provided wallets are not obsolete and my kid doesn’t hate me. The stitching looks like it should last well into the apocalypse and I could pass it down to him or her-. I hope they fight over it

 While Popov makes many slim wallets. I decided to pick out a big ass one, because I wanted to buy a wallet for the kind of bro. I aspire to be- some with cash occasionally., Also, maybe with better hair, who takes protein supplements and goes to the gym
