Given the features and audio and build quality, the price isn't unreasonable. They are essentially adult headphones but sized for kids and with the added benefit of a volume limiter.&nbsp;

&nbsp;To help balance out the need to turn up the volume, the PuroQuiets have active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as thick earcup cushions. The padding combined with the strength of the headband blocks 82 percent of external sound according to the company, so even with the ANC off they provide solid noise isolation.&nbsp;The headphones have a balanced sound quality, so they actually sound louder at a lower volume than other headphones. Like the adult version Puro once made, they have a natural, warm tone with full bass (not big and booming), so they work well for music, audio books and movie and TV dialogue

Noise cancellation aside, however, the headphones deliver a powerful bass-forward sound with a strict 85dB volume limit for young ears. But without ANC in the mix, you're better off saving some money on Puro's $79 JuniorJams, our Editors' Choice winner for kid-friendly headphones

 That said, the mic&rsquo;s signal seems a little weak, and Bluetooth audio artifacts affect the clarity slightly. Regardless, you won't have any trouble hearing your child on the other end of a call with a decent cell signal.

 This was both with the cable and bluetooth. Yes, I made sure it was connected the right way and all the way plugged in. When you get the noise cancellation and the sound at the same time.

In a way the size did fit. The battery life was great, it kept saying battery high level. I did forget to turn it off, so it shouldn't say high level by the end of the day. The convenience of wireless is great

 At least, it came with the storage box and two cables. I decided to test it out on my son for a couple of days, afterwards disinfecting the item of course. The sound was super low, I could barely hear anything. My son kept complaining he couldn't hear anything and if I could turn it up

PuroQuiet Headphones Review: BEST Headphones For Kids

These headphones are everything the company advertises with one very unfortunate exception. The headphones are extremely well made, light weight, super noise canceling, with perfect volume controls to protect kids' hearing. They come with a great hard shell travel case, and are everything I wanted.

 No amount of wearing or gentle stretching of the headband is going to change that because, guess what...they're really well made and meant to stay that way

 Wirecutter's review mentioned this drawback, but they sounded, and are, so impressive that I bought them anyway. And, now I'm returning them and having to settle for ones that are not nearly as well-made, but check all of the boxes for limiting volume, noise canceling, and comfortable to wear for a car trip. I really hope the manufacturer addresses this issue because if they did, I buy them again in a heartbeat.

Great headphones, but lasted 6 months

 I'm pretty happy with the headset now, great balance of function and form for kids. A bit on the pricey side, but considering the features and flawless bluetooth connectivity, they're worth it.
