Red Wing Heritage Boots

I found these on sale at Bass Pro Shop one day and decided to go for it since I liked how they looked and I had heard good things about Red Wing/Irish Setter. At the time I didn't realize that the Irish Setter brand was made overseas, and I'm not sure if that would've impacted my purchase or not. I got another pair of Red Wing heritage boots a couple weeks after buying these so that I could alternate between the two pairs throughout the week, so they would each have a day to rest.

It contains the perfect blend of brown and red tones. It looks particularly good on pull-on boots where you get to see large swaths of the leather uninterrupted by the tongue, eyelets, or speed hooks. **Final Thoughts:**. This is a great pair of boots.

I personally think the Whites MP boots are the best boots in the style Wolverine and Red Wing Heritage also makes. Whites are more expensive but not that much if buying full price in the other brands.

I bought a sturdy pair of Red Wing boots that have ankle support, steel toe, and steel shank. Got them for about $175 on a holiday sale in 2016, bought the leather treatment/sealer with them for about another $15.

I think the aesthetic you're looking for is more along the Red Wing Heritage line. In fact their [Iron shares a lot of design cues with the Captain. I know they're more expensive but I would buy once and cry once with the Red Wings before taking somewhat of a gamble on the Thursdays.
