Bearings shot after 1 year

A little early to give it 5 stars.  Our 3 1/2 year old seems to enjoy it but has only had the opportunity to use it a few times.

  I was told the models are exactly the same other than color. Don't know if that's true because I didn't compare them once received, but the bike looks good, and appears sturdy and safe.  I chose this bike over other brands because REI products have proven trustworthy over the years, and I believe that air filled tires are more versatile than the foam filled found on many other brands.  Had it delivered to store because my understanding was that REI assembled bikes when delivered to the store

  He jumped right on and began walk/riding it like he has wanted one for years.  I'm satisfied. Don't forget to get a helmet.  I got mine from A***** - which was a little less expensive than REI - but the determining factor wasn't price, but a bigger color selection

My daughter got this for Christmas and she loves it! For a little while she did the whole walking with the bike thing and slowly but surely she started sitting on the seat and now she's actually striding and beginning to coast a little. I was trying to decide between this one and the strider and went with this one bc it has real wheels instead of foam ones and also the body of the bike just looks cuter! I definitely recommend.

Balance bikes are all the rage nowadays & this one has performed flawlessly. Bought it a few months ago for our 2 year old and he loves it. Seat goes down just low enough for his legs to touch the ground. Tires are great quality and being a tubed tire over the other brands cheapie plastic/rubber, allows for repairs
