We're here with Johan from Rossignol with the ski Black Ops Sender. Tell me about this ski, Johan.

My rossignol black ops 98 are a bit unforgiving and don’t edge well enough. I tried the Nordica Santa Ana 88s, they were ok but a bit soft and chattery. The vokyl secret 95s were too boring/groomer oriented, didn’t turn well.

Rossignol Black Ops Smasher 92 -160: Easy to ski but felt very meh and was unstable. Atomic Maven 93 - 163? : Demoed a shorter length because that's all they had. Felt unstable on variable snow and made me nervous.

I didn't love how weird they were in the few powder days I got on them (too much camber, not wide enough underfoot, big flat tail). I demo'd a pair of K2 Mindbenders last year which were fun and playful and easy to do short turns on while on groomers, but felt really unstable at speed in choppy snow. I'm pretty sure I like beefy skis more than playful ones. Looking at the Rossignol Sender TI 180cm and the Enforcer 104 currently.
