 You know, we start to open up the turn radius 18 meters in this 180, 21 in the 187 and 24 in the 194. So definitely more of that straighter cut for more aggressive lines down the hill. Great for snow days, chalky snow, open bowls, stuff like that where you just want something smooth and stable to let it run. This Sender 106 Ti Plus is great for that and a lot more

 You know, when you pick this up right after the 104 Ti, you definitely notice a difference in just the overall feel of the ski. Definitely more for that aggressive advanced and expert skier who's looking for something for wider open spaces. You know, we start to open up the turn radius 18 meters in this 180, 21 in the 187 and 24 in the 194. So definitely more of that straighter cut for more aggressive lines down the hill

 Minimal splay that is contributing to the strong on trail and carving properties of this ski. So having that longer effective edge, minimal taper. So having that side cut go all the way to the end keeps this part of the ski on the snow very effectively and gives you that nice smooth turn from tip to tail. So a really well rounded ski despite its heft and burly nature

 So we've seen that filter through the Rossignol skis over the years. It really helps keep the swing weight down and the maneuverability up. So when you're dealing with a heavier ski like this, having that lighter swing weight goes a long way in maneuverability and quickness aspects. We also get two LCT strips of ABS material

If you find yourself with a pair of these next season (and you definitely should) you WILL have a smile on your face when you are on the hill– you might even find yourself giggling as you shred your secret stash.

I had always hoped that Salomon would make something like their Q115, or something in between the QST106 and QST118, and they out kicked their coverage when they built this ski, it has ALL the great things from years of awesome skis rolled into this one incredible ski.

When I heard that the Salomon athlete team was getting together to design a new ski, I thought to myself: I hope they put all the great things from all their previous ski designs.   I was not disappointed!  This ski is the new one ski quiver.

This ski brings the STOKE!

  I was hesitant to hit anything too sketchy being that I didn't exactly have a great feel for the Blanks yet but with the snow conditions the way they were I couldn't help but send it off the main double.  These skis absolutely blew my mind when I landed.  They just made it so easy to stomp airs.  They have the perfect amount of flex that doesn't send you bouncing out of landings but still allows you to pop out of those dreamy light pow pillows

Quiver Killer!

 It was the perfect balance for skiing the deeper snow and for touring from our camp each day. In combination with the Salomon MTN bindings + brakes these skis felt so solid. With the 178cm length I felt like I could control my skis in the steeper/tighter couloirs, but let them ride in the aprons when I wanted to open it up. For me, the ski stays solidly underfoot and I can feel a stiffer engagement with the initiation of my turns - which makes me want to ski faster and stronger

 For a fatter backcountry pow ski the Blanks are my go to. I'm happy to skin/boot up up on a little wider ski because these skis are so worth it on the way down! The Blanks are a new fav in my quiver!

A true master piece of a ski!

 The width, length, rocker, and turn radius make a combination that is near perfect for every thing. At 5'6 260 lbs I can slash deep pow, carve deep ruts on the groomers and still swivel my way through bumps like a plinko chip on the Price is Right.

Best All Around Fat Ski

 And in corn, they were a dream -- stable enough to plow through slush, but still playful and a ton of fun on the softer snow. I bought these based on the recent Outside Mag Gear of the Year honor, and they more than lived up to the hype. Time to retire a few pairs of older boards -- these QST Blanks just took their place!

 After ~50K of vertical, the verdict couldn't be better on these QST Blanks. They were incredibly fun on hard pack, and far easier to put on edge and swing into and out of turns than you would think with a 112mm wasted ski. My first day on this ski it was instantly my favorite. If you're used to riding another ski in the QST line the switch to the Blank feels so seamless. The shape feels so familiar underfoot yet its also perfectly adjusted for those days where the powder makes you want to charge your hardest. At 112 underfoot you have this perfect blend of float and agility
