 Okay, considering all the taste is coming from this little piece, I would say that it's more than decent. If we compare the Nespresso machine to this, a dedicated grinder and a manual espresso machine, things get out of Nespresso's league. That being said, this quality comes with a bit of caveats, and by that I mean you have to adjust the grinding size, measure the beans, you have to preheat the espresso machine for about 15 minutes, and after that yes, you get a better coffee and also better milk frothing, but it's more difficult. It's a way more tedious process and in the end, it takes a lot a lot more time

I currently just have one of those cheap tassimo machines. I love lattes and to be quite frank, the costa lattes are pretty nice to me personally...I know these will be frowned apon here.

However... I want to branch out and up my game a bit. My dad has a nespresso machine but the lattes we have tried to make and experiment with just don't taste very nice to me. The costa pods tasted better! So I'm really not all that sold on moving to nepresso. 

Therefore, I had been considering the Sage Bambino machine as a way to still keep a fairly sleek work top design but also give me option to use ground coffee to make a latte to my needs. I'm not a massive coffee snob by any means, just want a nice latte I can enjoy daily. 

Issue is, I don't know anyone with a machine like this to get a taste for it and it's not exactly cheap to dive into.

What's everyone's thoughts? Any other latte lovers out there who can give me their experience?

Best machine choice for milky coffees (UK)

 And, once you came to terms with the "pod" issue, you landed with Nespresso. Now, which one? We spent weeks reviewing reviews and going back and forth between the numerous models. Our objective was two-fold; make a variety of coffees and froth the milk with one machine. While one family member wants the "fancy coffee" the other two really just care about the frothed milk

 For years I've used a handheld milk frother which worked beautifully for two years, until the wand spun off. Definitely got my $20 worth there, but now needed a replacement. Upgrade time!!  We looked at the DeLonghi model with the milk container attached. Looked like way too much work to clean each time

 And, in defense of the Creatista, we're still learning, but as novices to the Nespresso scene, I wish we hadn't gone with a combined model. Since milk frothing was the number one feature for 2/3 of the family, I think a separate frother which heats and froths would have sufficed. The Creatista allows numerous froth and temperature settings but has preset steam output; you can't have unlimited steam for unlimited froth. The result (and again, maybe we aren't doing something right) is decent froth, but considerable liquid left

New to Nespresso?  Maybe start more basic... if froth is your priority.

 I got this mason jar in Target a long time ago. um the metal straw. I purchased it on Amazon so this too is so far my favorite drink. Since I purchased this machine, I haven't had any experience with descaling this machine yet because I only have it for a month and I believe you do have to purchase this de-scaling solution online which um, probably like eight or ten dollars which is not bad

Questionable Reliability

The milk frother does not get the milk hot any more - went to Sur La Table who showed me how to increase temperature to have very hot milk - did that and still does not get hot - very disappointed for the amount of money this thing cost.

, different brands, different types, etc.) and the best setting for the type of froth I like, my results aren't always consistent. The same milk sometimes gives me a denser foam than other times, even when I run the milk cycle two times in a row. I also found that the minimum mark on the jug is still too much milk for one cup, so I use only 2 oz (which is about half the recommended minimum amount), and the steaming/frothing still works fine

 And finally, it seems that even though I've finally settled on a brand and type of milk that gives me the best results for froth (I tried 6-7 variations, i.e., different brands, different types, etc.) and the best setting for the type of froth I like, my results aren't always consistent

Loving it so far

Beautiful Machine, lots of technology (great auto-foam and -cleaning), and good to very good coffee
