Best All Mountain Jib Board?

 This is going to give you the load, pop, snap, and drive of traditional camber, but you got this micro rocker zone which just decreases the edge bite out there so it's not as hooky. This board is available in 148, 152, 155, 155 wide, 158, and 158 wide. I rode this board at Copper Mountain on a mostly bluebird day. There was a few clouds just floating through and there was a load of moderate winds with warmer temperatures

 This just all works in conjunction to keep you more flat based. Who's this board for? The high end freestyle rider. The nice thing about this board is it's predictable after you've made a few laps on it you understand how it's going to ride it doesn't throw you off you can just predict how it's going to transition from edge to edge how it's going to pop how it's going to press how it's going to butter how you're going to be able to play around with it. Which is nice it's nice to have a predictable board because then it doesn't really make you wonder well can I do this can I not do this you're just sort of like yeah okay I can handle it

 But you can butter on this board. You can get sideways. You can swivel around and do what you need to do. It's just got a lot of rebound to it just with the camber profile and the flex in there

Now when it comes to jibbing you want to hit those ideal sweet spots which are closer to the tip and tail contact points right where that micro rocker is, right where the camber comes down. Get your weight out over there and have a little bit more speed than you think

New board for the season. I don't see much line for Salomon on here

 This board does have that little micro rocker zone in the tip and the tail, and you can utilize that to your advantage when you're buttering, but it's so small, most people probably aren't going to feel it. So you end up just more or less having to get your weight outside the nose or the tail. You're kind of manhandling it to get it to do what you want it to do. And I don't mean manhandling like you got a Hulk on it

 So you're doing a nose press, you hit the end of the feature, you're going to be able to spring a little bit more. The best way I can sum up this board is hard part carves, where you're setting that edge in, maybe going around a feature or some stupid fat skier that fell in your way, and you just got to get around them. It's going to be fine. It's when you try to lay it over into Euro carve territory, it kicks out

 So you do have to load up the camber profile on this board to get it to engage to pop, and that's really it. It's a predictable snap on this board. It just feels like a board you bet on forever. You understand how it's going to pop, and you know that what you put in is exactly what you're going to get out

The 2023 Salomon Huck Knife Snowboard Review

 They take a lap or two to get used to but after that it's like a dream. For reference I am riding a Salomon Huck knife and a k2 manifest this year that are both hybrid combinations.

I’ve been snowboarding for about 4 years now. First 2 on ice coast, only few days a year. Last 2 years in CO riding about 10 times a year. I’ve progressed well and would consider myself solid intermediate that can handle advanced terrain somewhat well (can do most blacks/love me some bowls, but still new/learning to master double blacks).

My first and only board is an Arbor Element Camber. I absolutely love it and it has handled basically everything I’ve thrown at it. The only area it really struggles in is pow.

I mostly stick to groomers and bowls, but have been exploring trees more lately and feel like a rocker (or camber/rocker hybrid) would be better for maneuverability than my Arbor. Also, want something that can handle pow better. Don’t have much interest in park, but wouldn’t mind a more playful board to see if that becomes an interest. Only ever ridden a camber.

After doing a lot of research, I’m still torn. It sounds like rockers are more suited for beginners and although hybrids are better, they are still not ideal for all-mountain. I have been eyeing the Burton Process or Custom Flying V because of the hybrid style, but see mixed reviews.

Am I overthinking this? Is there a camber out there better suited for my style or should I give a hybrid a try? Any other board recommendations?

Looking to buy a Freestyle or park board here this off season and could use some feedback. I’m 5’8” 175 lbs, wear a size 10 boot. Im debating between a 151 or 154, I would say that I’m advanced in terms of all mountain/pow riding but relatively new to jibbing in a park. I want something that is relatively playful but can handle the mountain if needed. 

I’m looking into getting a Bataleon fun kink or an evil twin, I’ve heard good things about their boards and the triple base technology, anyone have any experience with them? I could be persuaded to other boards as well, anyone have a fun freestyle rippers they like?
